for vain glory i've been playing a lot of games but my skill tier is still in the exact same place every day its still in the middle of not bad.

Only playing and winning ranked matches increase your skill tier. Not casuals. Now if you have been playing ranked, I don't know.

you cannot get past middle of Tier4 silver until you reach account level 10. If your hidden ELO from casual games is significantly higher than that Tier4 Silver then you should jump to the end of Tier4 Gold as soon as your account reaches level 10.

Yeah. Also, in order to play ranked games, in addition to the level 10 requirement, you also need to own at least 3 heroes if im not mistaken.
