I don't understand why I have to suffer a drop in skill tiers because someone else desserts the match or just sits at base and leaves us no other choice but to surrender. Just went from The Hotness to Pretty Good because of noobs like this.

Yes it's a pain if someone leaves, but many people team up, and one of them can leave and take the hit for the other two if they're getting beat terribly, and the two won't be punished. And the devs don't want that.
