Scores after battles

What does those three-number scores mean.

The blitz I just played shows scores like 2/9/3 and 8/4/2, etc.

What are those numbers?

The three number scores are your K/D/A
Kills / Deaths / Assists

Kills are where you deal the last ounce of damage to you opponent (hero) before they die, AKA the "finishing blow"
Deaths are- well, your deaths.
Assists are when you deal damage to an enemy hero, but your teammate finishes them off.
