Farming Etiquette :: Vainglory discussion on VaingloryFire

I thought this was pretty obvious but I've played with too many players who seem to not understand this basic idea.

When a teammate is attacking a jungle monster to rack up their cash...DON'T steal it!! I would think everybody feels the same way, right?

Obviously mining monsters are different, but otherwise I think it's good practice to leave a teammate alone while they're farming.

Omfg i agree so much. So much so that i made an account just to tell you how much that pisses me off. Sometimes i think ok if we are in the same area and you insist of attacking a fresh jungle monster with me fine. But sometimes they literally run around waiting to last hit them. Or worse is when you are low on health and you deliberately run to the jungle for the heal monster and they take it.

If they steal your farm once I'll ignore it but these guys do it so much it's enough to make you wan't to throw the game and say fine if I'm so useless i don't need gold then you win the game.

i agree, although ive also noticed peaople spamming the avoid ping on a monster just when im helpnig them get it low in the early game. Guess they have bad previous experiences.

I get so pissed when people do this. I thought it was common knowledge to not do this but I guess I was wrong.

Yeah. When that happens I warn 3 times. If he doesn't change the behaviour, I don't mind to loose the game, but I will shadow him for awhile (with Taka) by staying by his side all the time, waiting for him to do all the work and then Kaiten enemy on the last hit until he get frustrated.

It's the only way to teach these idiots.

As a frequent Taka player (and we all know how desperately Taka needs early farm...), I have to say shamefully that I'm one of those players. Though I give them a chance to prove themself- if we attack the same monster and you swipe the last hit then I'm bringing out my spam weapons.

i really hate this. Some people just want money for themselves, they dont even care about their teammates. Even i spammed the avoid pings they wont even go away >:(
The thing that piss me off mostly is kill steal. I sometimes end up with 5-15 assists each match >.<

Once a teammate did this to me. He was walking around me while I was farming and took the last hits. Once. Twice. 5 times. I was mad. Really mad.
But the revenge time came for me, as he went in the enemy jungle, he was ambushed by the enemy junglers. He deciced to go back in our jungle, pinging the hell out of me so that I wouldd help. I moved toward his position, and just as I was in front of me with the enemy junglers behind him, I went under my box (with Taka) and went past them. I then saw him get killed, and afterward he stopped stealing my minions. Gotta teach the hard way some times !
