I'm level 16, still a bit of a NOOB. I always go for the ranked matches but am not sure if I'm playing them or not. Is there an indication to show if I'm playing in a higher or lower ranked match? There was/is a promise of greater rewards but I don't think I'm seeing it. Can anyone offer some advice please. Great game, don't want to stop playing but it might get a bit boring playing casual matches all the time.

you are playing ranked but why would they tell you where you are playing? they wont show. btw, what tier are you?

Just check if your ranked meter changes.

I think it is the lowest rank possible.

Do you have a bronze/silver/gold meter?

Hahaha, and there's me thinking I'm making progress!!

It's on Gold near the top so I suppose it might go up to the next level in a year or two haha.

Out of interest how many games are people playing per day? I manage 2-3 each day. I've just managed to unlock my first skin. (KRUL). Any advice on best characters to play with and build guides etc?

I play 1 every few days. The best character to win with, in your tier, is Saw. Nobody buys atlas so it is pretty much free game for you lol.

Btw, Atlas is that item that reduces enemy attack speed by 65%, so as you can imagine, it hard counters saw.
