Sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere but when do you get the hard-fought bonus for a match? Is it based upon how much time has gone by, how many kills have happened or how many turrets are down?
Thanks!

If any body knows, would you be good enough to reply to this guys great question ?

"I damn sure don't know dude".

We have fought tooth and nail, down to only Vain Crystal's standing. And other awsome battles
for a stinking 4 or 7 Hard Fought points. I watch that score, to no evaile.

Does any body really know besides Devs. or a weird computer, serious question ?

I'm almost positive kills don't affect the hard fought status, since short quick games can have high kill amounts & long games can have low kill counts. I also don't think time is a determining factor, since you can have long games where one team still dominates & it isn't very "hard."

Generally I notice a hard fought each team gets a kraken. If both teams get a kraken, you're basically guaranteed a hard fought. Aside from that, turrets probably are a factor. If both teams have a low turret amount, the game is clearly "hard fought" if you think about it :)
Skill tier- usually floating around in simply amazing

the kraken is not a factor ive had many games where the kraken was never taken by anyone and i still get hard fought

Just a guess: it could be as simple as assessing the end off game team resources. For example, Blue has 3 Turrets & of course the Vain Crystal, so not all that close of a match. But if Blue had only a sliver of Heath left on the Vain Crystal, a very close/hard fought match. I could be way over simplifying this by not accounting for permutations (& weighted combinations) of elapsed time, total gold, did a team stay in the match with only 2 or 1 player (was defeated but received "hard fought" for a game when I was 1 of 2 or sole remaining team player)...given the math used to yield hero base stats & then factor item builds and later generate DPS, Damage, True Damage, etc., it does not seem outlandish that a more complex algorithm exists.

Happy hunting to all.
