The problem with this build is the fact that it's different on paper (or pixels I guess) than in practice.
I tried it out and went 5-5-6 in the game and we lost(pretty good gold). The problem is aoe nukes any seeds so you have to constantly be placing them. Joule, Glaive, Celeste, Skaarf, and Koshka all will kill the seeds while attacking you.
This makes it very difficult to get any benefit from the seeds, and you deal little damage at the same time.
Maybe the build would be better if you went with an aftershock + energy item + defensives.
While constantly placing the seeds is a pain in the *** in the normal build, it would allow for aftershock to basically always be active.
Just my 2 cents.

I totally agree. It's been a while since I've played petal, and since she's been played in general. Several patches have changed the meta and especially the BP nerf hurt her a lot. Maybe in future she'll make a comeback, but thanks for telling me your experience and going about it constructively.

I disagree because Adiago can chase you around town by buring you up first and use his second ability to do damage and when your on fire with little health you dead. He'll just ignore your def. items.

Good point. I'll give this a tweak.

IMO, the Ironguard Contract is best when there will be 2 laners in your team. You won't get gold even if minions last hit other minions first ;-; As a Petal player also, I would totally recommend to have at least one WP like Tension Bow or Breaking Point (that's what I use lol) because not only your basic attack will grow stronger, but your munions will be invincible. And don't spend Yay, Pets! by level 2-3 as they will be wiped out by enemy heroes uvu. Ps. I like your build. I'll try to do those

Thanks! And yeah, breaking point would be good as you're in battles for quite a while with this build. I'll add a section for that soon

The only problem I see is using her ult as a finisher. Good teams know how to subdue Petal by focusing her munions down.

Thanks for the feedback! However, I should have added that at the start of team fights you should have several seeds planted in the nearest grass, so you can refresh your minions constantly and the enemy won't know where they're coming from.
