Wow.. Those four rules at the end, will really help. Although, I suggest one more rule: If something goes wrong, forget about it. Forget about everything that has happened in the last three seconds. Dwelling on things like that can get you distracted about your goal: to win the game.

I am sure that a lot of players want to know about the elo system, Ionly knew elo was used in chess but thanks to you do I now know how it works and why the game tries to make me loose.
So thanks for writing this, hopefuly will this be found in the vainglory new section.

I liked this. One thing that has helped my "Namesake" play is to log out & play as a guest with the newbies. It has made me a bolder player back at my higher level, also I get to try other heros out with the newbees rather than my tried and true standards. Maybe this is cheating, maybe not....

Hey, it's whatever works. Just try not to make it a habit because it the long run it could be detrimental to your play style.
