Petal commands a munion to explode, slowing and dealing splash damage to nearby enemies while healing nearby allies.

Petal is basically one of the most squishiest characters in vainglory, but also one of the damage dealers, mostly because of her pets with her yay-pets skill. This skill will make nearby bamblethorn-seed s sprout into an onion looking minion, you cannot order them freely around the area. They attack enemies that you engage with, NO they do not attack enemies that attack you, you have to attack them first. The pets attack damage is determined by its skill level and your current crystal power.
One of the feared skills of petal is
Spontaneous Combustion the skill itself makes your living pets detonate and deal splash damage, the damage is also determined by your current crystal power.
Petal is good without her team, as she can take out an entire team with the right skill usage ( Ult + yay pets = overkill ).
Although, an inexperienced petal should stay with her allies at all times, especially because petal is very fragile.
Well, most people think petal only has one damage skill and that is the spontaneous combustion, but NO! Petal also has another damage skill and it also Slows! Oooo useful for escaping! Although, you may only use it when you have 1 or more pets missing. Hmm? What is it you ask? That is ofcourse the bramblethorn seed + yay pets combination, dont understand? Let me explain, if an enemy hero or any enemy steps on a seed and you use yay pets to magically sprout a pet, the enemy takes damage and gets slowed down. A useful skill indeed!
Now now, dont you dare use spontaneous combustion at the start of a fight, use it when two or three enemy heroes are around, you can solo them altogether if you do that aaaand more gold for you. You can also use it if you're about to die and you can't afford to wait any longer. Also, after all the minions become seeds use the yay pets skill IMMEDIATELY, sometimes they try to escape so damage + slow You could probably kill them with just that skill.
Oh and i almost forgot, Seeds, plant them whenever you fight they heal too if you can remember, and rhey give you armor aswell, and if you manage to get the entire build set below ( and above ), the amount of health you get from the seeds should be in the vicinity of 60-85.

At the start of the game, buy a crystal bit and 2 halcyon potions.
Head towards the jungle and kill neutral enemies.
Afterwards, there will be a slight chance that an enemy hero will wander off to your side of the jungle, You can go after him or you can just leave him be.
Go to the shop and buy a heavy prism, if you dont have enough gold yet, kill more neutral enemies.
After you buy heavy prism buy a minion candy and use it while killing the minion mine, plant seeds while killing the minion mine to have extra heals.
You can either solo the gold mine or capture it with your allies, i suggest capturing it with allies as there might be a chance you will get ambushed.
You can now get an eclipse prism, or a shatterglass.
Get two more potions and two more minion candys along with the shatterglass and kill some enemies, continue the game with the following items, you may do them in order or not, it isnt important.
-Eve of Harvest:
it will heal you as you pets deal damage making you more invincible.
-Aftershock:
Spam your bramblethorn seeds ability for continuous damage!
-Alternating Current:
This + Aftershock = OPness.
-Journey Boots:
Are you losing a fight? Run! Or use a crucible!
-Crucible:
Oh no saw used SS! Crucible to the rescue!
You may also change the boots for a defense item, if you are winning, a Metal Jacket would be most recommended as you may solo the kraken with this build, you can also solo the kraken with: 2 or 1 shatterglasses, and a metal jacket.
