I enjoyed the guide, but I'll leave you some food for thought about your build because there's a couple items I question. If you've read my guides you know I'm a fan of out of the box thinking when it comes to builds. So I'm glad to see something other than what I expect most Baron guides to say. Let me feed you some numbers and either my thinking might help you refine your build, or you can help me understand what you're seeing with the build.

You're total CP in this build is 145, so you aren't taking full advantage of his perks since you need 200 CP to do that. With the 2 eve's of harvest your lifesteal is 29 (not taking into account any shielding. I'm also leaving out the Eve of Harvest & Aftershock perks because those are going to stay what they are so it just confuses things to try to take it all into account). If you take shielding into account. So with the 2 Eve of Harvest you get 20% lifesteal, your average character has 86 shield at level 12, so if they build no shield items you'll do 16 points of lifesteal with 2 Eve of Harvest. Now if they build an Aegis you'll only do 9 points of life steal. Now if you want to plug that into Porcupine Mortar's 190% CP ratio you'll do 55 lifesteal with no shileds, 30 with base shields, and 18 with Aegis.

If you were to swap out your second Eve of Harvest for a Shatterglass now your Porcupine Mortar will do 46 lifesteal with no shields, 25 against base shields, and 15 against Aegis.

Well 2 Eve of Harvests do better lifesteal so why are you telling me this BLG3RNT?

Here's why. With 2 Eve of Harvests you deal 276 damage (before shields), but by swapping out one of the Eve of Harvest for Shatterglass now your Porcupine Mortar does 456 damage. So would you rather do 5 extra lifesteal? or 180 extra CP damage? Plus now your CP is high enough to take advantage of all of his ability perks.

That's what I'm seeing. I think you could be a lit more efficient with your item selection. I'd also personally leave Fountain of Renewal for your Roam, but that's a personal preference I guess. I'd build Aegis instead, of course assuming your roam is building Fountain of Renewal which should be the first item of every Roam.

Good guide!

Have you considered using a Frostburn on Baron? I find it to be decently beneficial.

I have. I'm not terribly fond of Frostburn unless it's a character that needs to stick, like Reim. Baron, while horribly slow, can cover a lot of ground with Jump Jets and the range of his attacks. That's why personally I choose not to use frostburn.

First of all, I'd like to say thank you so much for this amazing feedback. I'm decently new to all these numbers, and I can definitely see your point. I have experimented a little and found that substituting an Eve of Harvest for a shatterglass can work, and I find that it really depends on how you play Baron. My playstyle is to hang around in the back lines and fight from as far away as possible. Like you mentioned, my choosing of a Fountain of Renewal is a personal preference. However, you must take into account the passive of Eve of Harvest. It allows me to raise my potential life steal on HEROs to 70%. This is because with two Eves, the 25% life bonus each plus my usual 20% life steal raises this to a substantial level. I will configure my build based on your knowledge. Onc again, thank you so much for your feedback.

That's actually inaccurate. Passives do not stack. So you only get the passive effects x1 even though you have Eve of Harvest x2. Also remember that the 25% only lasts for the first 600-1200 points. After which you are back to 10% until it recharges. I know it's somewhat confusing, but that's how it works. You can't stack passives.

Something else to point out, because numbers can be deceiving. Even if you did a whopping 70% lifesteal because you could stack passives. 70% against an Aegis is still only 33 points of lifesteal. Which is only 18 higher than the Shatterglass combo, while the Shatterglass combo still gives you 180 more crystal damage.
