I started playing a bit before the Celeste update (1.2), and yet still only have 400 or so wins (tier is at the slither of Pretty Good Silver near Pretty Good Bronze), primarily because I as well found the game too frustrating and quit for an extended amount of time. Honestly, this game is completely contested by any other popular PC MOBA. However the one thing I like, that brings me back to Vainglory every time, is the quick games and of course, the fact that it is on mobile. You will always find those times where the game just feels like its specifically giving you the worst teammates, and the worst luck you could possibly get, but honestly, as Veneticius said, it is best to simply take a break and do something else rather than Vainglory.

If vain glory is in your opinion completely contested by Popular PC MOBAs, honestly just go back to league or Dota. Because vain glory shouldn't have a 5 v 5 and 3 v 3 is absolutely fine and why is it the visuals are 5x better then popular PC MOBAs on vain glory which is a mobile game with a much smaller company....

Gameplay-wise, Vainglory is incredibly inferior to the mainstream PC MOBA's. As a Mobile MOBA, Vainglory shines, however only as a Mobile MOBA.

Graphics are pointless and 5v5/3v3 really doesn't affect me. As someone who got /peer pressured/ into playing LoL, and specifically stated that I preferred Vainglory over LoL, I still think that gameplay wise, PC MOBAs are way better than Vainglory.
