This is my first MOBA so I understand I still have a lot to learn. I started playing with my roommate maybe two weeks ago and ever since we started holding our own we have had the same problem: we keep bouncing beck and forth between skill tiers. We usually dominate "NOT BAD" then see a huge jump in competition in "DECENT-ISH" and end up back in "NOT BAD". A typical conversation would be this: "I just went 12, 2 and 6!" "In what tier?" "DECENT-ISH" "Oh, no way!"

Are we just jumping between first time players and non-first time players? Is anyone else experiencing this or are we just that bad?

I didn't even know you can jump skill tiers. I've been stuck at decent-ish forever.

It's also possible that you keep getting matched with a full group of 3. Since most people would prefer teaming up rather than PUG'ing it

I jumped 1 tier above decent-ish for a game, can't remember what it was though. I lost the game after my tier-up pretty bad. Tier up, tore up? I've only pug'd, never done a group. I currently have 0 friends on my list haha :(

I've been pugging, I'm on "pretty good" right now. You guys might need a little more practise :)

I stuck in "pretty good" status for a while. Should rise up to "hottest" soon but got some loses due to AFK users. This game should punish those AFK users seriously.

i am new to MOBAs too and play solo (i guess pugging).

games got a lot harder at decent-ish and i'm only winning a little more than half my games

still trying out characters and builds and it's really a comfort to find out i am not the only one struggling

the game is awesome though.

The struggle is real. Just when I think I've got a good build and go like 15-5, next game I get my *** handed to me. Back to the drawing board.

What does it go off of? Kills to death Ratio or Wins?

Didn't know solo queueing was called "Pugging" ...

But I've reached "The Hotness" By solo queue.
Just takes patience and practice!

I started yesterday and I got to Decent-ish. Actually decent-ish is just right for me, especially since I just started out! My only problem really is the lag. My internet connection is so slow sometimes that it messes up the whole game for me. XD

I also play alone, but I'd like to play with a group too so I can improve more and learn more by playing with a team! Add me if you want! :D
