You should consider getting Slumbering Husk for bursty laners/junglers.

Thank you for the extensive guide! One correction though, in VG when you have slows coming from two different sources (principle Archana and frostburn) as you mention, only the strongest slow is applied. The game will look at the slows, see that the base slow on her basics is higher, and apply that slow. The only, very slight benefit of frostburn on Lyra would be the tiny slow it would give to the first attack of her basic. It will not add to her slow percentage to get her anywhere near what she had before, so it's essentially a wasted item. I guess having a slow with her sigil could be nice, but imo, but worth the item cost compared to shatterglass. Same applies to shiversteal, it will apply the initial slow to the first of her basics, then her decaying slow will apply, and overlap each other, but not add to each other, so I'd argie there are much better items she could have at any time than either of them. As for my credentials, I'm t7 silver, almost gold, and primarily roam, and mostly roam on Lance or Lyra, so I'm extremely familiar with her kit and what makes her work. :)

You're welcome! Thanks for the info. I've never seen that information, but they don't publish a lot of things. I'll verify and then correct. I appreciate you pointing that out.

After extensive studying, to my knowledge at least in 1.21 and 1.22 Ozo's Bangarang isn't disabled. I don't know why as it is clearly movement, but trust me this is coming from an Ozo main and I have experience with this situation. Not sure about previous and upcoming updates.

Is that from inside the Bright Bulwark? I know he can roll through it, and is just slowed, if it starts from outside of the Bright Bulwark.

This Really Helped Me With Lyra Because Lyra Is SUPER squishy alone

The fact that you blend game-changing mathematics with practical solutions makes this guide one of my favorites. I loved how this guide is overflowing with information but there is one caveat. Why is fountain of renewal not even mentioned once in this guide? It is an incredible item, especially for roam Lyra. This should be used in place of metal jacket (unless situational) because Lyra usually goes towards the middle or back like Adagio (hence the ranged protector) when fighting. Besides, why not have double heal, extra imperial sigil healing and some shield/armor? Otherwise, excellent job.

I had typed a response, apparently I forget to hit post. I have included fountain in my newly added roam build. It was originally omitted because I play Lyra primarily in the lane, and I don't Want to lose my offensive for a defensive when in the lane. Fountain does have its set backs, late game it becomes nearly useless as a healing mechanism because it doesn't work fast enough, and with only +200 health there are better items to boost Lyra's sigil. However, as a roam built early it is a powerful item to keep the team alive and if you are successful in doing so early game, you can often push through the opposing team for the win before its late game set backs become an issue. At least that's my opinion. Thanks for the comment!

Good guide but you should delete this thing because Lyra is OP. Also Ozo's second three ring circus hit is disabled in the bulwark. And I'd like to disagree on the fact of using a metal jacket over atlas pauldron because Lyra is a ROAM not a 1 v 1 person. You shouldn't be fighting anybody without a teamate (Unless you're in the lane) So the majority of the time that atlas pauldron will affect more than one puny Krul.

Lyra is no longer really OP, her passive can't slow as much, and her bulwark only lasts for 2 seconds which isn't as bad as Cath's ultimate being up to something close to 4.5 seconds. If you were going to say anyone is OP then Cath is the one you should be talking about.

Not sure why your opinion of Lyra being OP is relevant to whether there should be a guide. As to your atlas pauldron comment you may note that I primarily play Lyra in the lane, also Lyra isn't a brawler and even in team fights is better from a distance

Don't get an atlas no matter what. If you get into the middle of the teamfight, you will be bursted down and be of no use to your teammates. Better to survive longer so you can heal your allies and have your jungler get an atlas

Good guide overall but personally, I would get Clockwork over Aftershock because of the energy, CD, and the amplified cp

I know 1.20 has changed clockwork, so I'm going to take a look at it. It may be especially viable in order to spam bulwark with the new nerf.

Super good guide, nice job :) But one mistake : Taka's Kaiten is disabled by Bright Bulwark. Nice guide again, and thanks for it! ;)

Thanks! You are correct, but he can flip into the bulwark unlike others such as koshka and joule who crash into the walls. I will update when I update this for the 1.20 changes

Great guide - really enjoyed reading it - will give your build a try vs what I am using, which is more geared towards a tanky protector role i.e. fountain, halcyon boots, aegis/metal jacket/atlas combined with aftershock/clockwork/shatterglas
as others here said - different builds suit different play style which makes VG so much fun to play

This guide was written well, and I can see that you put in a lot of effort. But to be honest, there are many things that I would like to disagree on. Getting an energy battery in the beginning is not necessary as because farming in the early game does not require you to use the second arcane missile. Getting a Swift Shooter is better for a more aggressive early game, but an oakheart will suffice for the heal.

To say, I think that an aftershock will not be that useful on Lyra as it is much harder to spam due to long cooldowns on her abilities. Although Imperial Sigil has a shorter cooldown the cooldwon on it is still pretty long. Bright Bulwark and Arcane are really bad to pair with Aftershock as well. as for the shatterglass, I would not consider a core item, as a broken myth now scales pretty quickly and will then surpass Shatterglass in terms of crystal if paired with an alternating current.

Again different play styles. I'm not an aggressive laner, especially with Lyra now that she's so squishy, far more susecptible to ganks. So I prefer energy battery with my play style.

As for your Broken Myth substitution I addressed that in the guide, however I've not yet run the new numbers with the nerf on her basic attacks, I will address in the update.

Hey there, I'd like to add a bit that Lyra's BB silences Ozo's 2nd TRC as it counts as a lunge attack. So basically BB shuts down Ozo lol. Cheers! :)
