Ok, here are the rules for Kensei.
1. Never max your B (A and C max only)
2. Never just spam out all your As at the beginning if the fight, save 1 or 2 to chase or run.
3. Its rare were you should start with your ult; and NEVER use it without empowerment(unless you gotta run tf away before u get aced)
4. While he can be played in the jungle and in Lane, He is an extremely weak early game hero. Rush your items from Poison Shiv to Bonesaw and 2 Monocles asap. He shines after you get that 1st monocle.
5. If you fall a little behind, be careful not to die, and try to keep the dif in gold from increasing. Late game you will shred even opponents who were well ahead in gold. Just get the monocles.
6. While I recommended the husk, obviously feel free to get the Crucible/Aegis to avoid stuns.
7. BUY BREAKING POINT instead og the 1st crucible only if they have almos a full roster of tanky heroes, and you have to tank the damage for your carry. BP is not as good on him as you may think unless there is enough time for you to build the stacks while taking damage. If they have a hyper carry(who does burst dmg, or can run,dash, jump etc. Monocles win over the BP.
8. Some ppl build sorrow blade or Crown on Kensei. These are a waste of money. Eye they speed up lane and jungle clear, but the crown is useless late game(your forte) and Sorrowblade fails to give you as much damage as 2 monocles or 1 SB and 1 Monocle give. Tho it does give you more dmg early game, 2 monocles(which you get only late game) outperform it.
9. Kensei is a game turner. Often you can make easy mad combacks from having destroyed no ememy turrets and having 1 or 0 turrets to a win.
10. You can last against the enemy's full team for 3s.. if you have your support then 8s. Prioratize ending the carry and the jungler will fll to you even in a 1v2. So olong as you arent constantly stunned or slowed.
11. IF ENEMY GETS ATLAS, GET AEGIS AND BLOCK IT. or dash away when it is used. YOU R A USELESS FREE KILL FOR THE ENEMY TEAM IF YOUR SPEED IS GONE. YOU will die to any hero(non support) if you fight while under atlas's slow.
