Speculating that his weapon is a ring blade in comparison to the weapont Tira has in Soul Calibur 4. Any other ideas of interest as it relates to the new hero?

He kinda reminds me of fireworks for some reason.

Maybe his abilities are related to knocking enemies away with bombs?

If this hero was related to Chinese New Year, it will mean that the update will be out near the first week of February. Which is pretty soon

I see it as Ringo's tier 3 skin.i could be wrong.

I kinda see what you mean but two reasons it's not Ringo's tier 3:
1. No one else is shown in any of their skins.
2. you can clearly see Ringo right below Koshka.

It's new hero
As U know whenever new hero comes with the update, it will be on top left hero list, first one actually. And as u see its right there and u see reim is on his place after ringo so we're gonna have a monkey for next release :)
