Threat Hero Notes
1
Catherine Catherine is very easy for any adagio to kill. You just cast Gift of Fire on yourself if you are close to her as she stuns, and since you are the tank she will not be aiming it at you. She will be slowed and her stun might wear off before she can even do it on your ally.
2
  No Threat
3
Ardan Ardan is a bit tougher than Catherine, but keep in mind they are both natural tanks. Ardan also has a slow , but his Slow for Enemies can Speed up his allies. Don't let him get too close if your team is not nearby at early levels.
4
Taka Look, taka is not the best hero in the game for sure. Early game, all you need is flares and scout traps to secure an easy kill on him because he is naturally squishy. Late game, make sure to get the fire from Gift of Fire on him and ultimate him, stunning him and securing an easy kill.
5
SAW Saw being spun up is a bad thing for most all people, but it is not for Adagio. In lane, you can Gift of Fire a minion close to him while he is slowed by his spin up and get a bit of damage. Atlas pauldron will help slow his attacks speed.
5
Petal Petal can definitely ruin some people's day, but adagio can help with that! Applying Gift of Fire on an ally minion or hero close to her munions will get fire on all of t them, and if you are close enough cast it on yourself to slow the munions making her pretty useless in a crystal petal scenario.
6
Glaive The heat starts going up with Glaive. He can afterburn your teammates into his allies, pretty much securing a kill for them. He can also make a quick getaway with afterburn. Make sure to heal a teammate with Gift of Fire to whoever is closest to him, doing maximum damage, or slow him down by casting it on yourself.
7
Adagio Most adagio ( if people still play him ) will play as a carry, either crystal or weapon. Your atlas pauldron, fountain, and Gift of Fire burst heal will definitely help you hold him off while you do 100 DPS with your Warhorn. Note: do NOT get too close to him early game, especially if he is going weapon power. He is still powerful even after the nerf.
7
Krul Krul is the king of 1v1s, don't engage him (especially at lower levels) unless your team is there with you. As he is retrying to dead mans rush or run away, slow him by healing yourself and help your allies burst him down before he can become a threat again.
7
Joule Joule. Joule got a major buff this update which was very much needed. Her predictability is her downfall, so if you see her going in to stun your team, burst heal them right after they are stunned. She takes more damage from the back than the front, so as she is running away your team can do more damage to her.
8
Celeste Celeste is a real problem, especially at level 8 where she can overdrive her Heliogenesis. Celeste is very squishy (normally), so cast agent of wrath on whichever teammate has the most attack speed or weapon power, giving them a buff for when you begin the fight. Remember her heliogenesis is very powerful, so heal your teammates whenever you can.
8
Skaarf Skaarf is very strong in the early game, and with skippers build (shoutout to best Skaarf NA!!) he dominates late game. Your items will help you catch up to him if your team is in goop, normally his escape route. His fan the flames ability can be very deadly , so heal your teammates as soon as he hits them with Spitfire.
9
Koshka Koshka is very deadly to nearly everyone, even adagio. You think his slow would help but her special ability, Bloodrush, can help her go back to around normal speed once slowed. She is played either as a tank or a full assassin, but either way she is capable of taking your team out. If she leads with Pouncy Fun, cast Gift of Fire on your teammate to heal and hurt. Koshka is used in most skill tiers, and is very good in the higher ones. Learn the persons play style throughout the game to be ready for each teamfight.
9
Vox Vox is still marly at the top, even after his "nerf". He can dodge your Ultimate and Gift of Fire. Both crystal and weapon are dangerous, and (especially with crystal) you may want to save your crucible for Wait For It, your team will greatly appreciate that. Be sure to use Atlas Pauldron when you get close, eliminating a huge damage output from him.
10
Ringo Ringo is basically a nightmare to anyone who can't escape fast. If he is on a team and has sustain weapon damage, use atlas pauldron and make sure that your team attacks him first. Slow him so Twirling Silver will bring him to only normal speed. If this doesn't work, sorry, you're on your own!!
