In early game, you should focus only on your jungle, so you and your jungler can efficiently level up and earn gold. You should not engage in fights unless: 1) The enemy invades your jungle and engages battle. 2) The enemy team engages your laner, in which case you should help the laner, being mindful to still farm, so by the four minute mark, you can make your first purchase. The most efficient way to clear your jungle is as follows: Backs, first treant heal camp, second treant heal camp, jungle shop. Your jungler should always be taking the damage from camps, because they will have the heal potion from the treant camps. Every time you finish clearing all four camps, and you are heading back to the first minions in the clearing pattern, you should go close enough to the lane where you can throw an imperial sigil to your laner this will enable them to engage with the other laner, and hopefully get the kill, if not continue jungling and do it again every time. If you are jungling for the whole first four minutes with this efficient pattern, you should be ahead when the jungle shop spawns.
Vision is one of the most important things as a roamer, so as soon as you purchase your contraption, you should begin to place them. However, placing them anywhere or just in the middle of every brush will get you nowhere. If you place them in good vision spots, you will be able to see the whole map, and you will not have to constantly replace the traps. Once you get it, you should go through your jungle and start placing them. You should place one scout trap on each of the treant minions in the heal camps. This will give you vision to see when the enemy is stealing your jungle, and they will not step on it, because it is under the minion. You should put scout traps near the backs on either side, but these are minor, so don't stress about maintaining them. Then, you should put traps at the jungle shop. These should not be in the center of the brush, but in the sides, where people are least likely to walk. After you have these, place one at each corner of the three cornered brush on each side of the kraken. After you have all these placed, put scout traps in more minor places and smaller brushes. Don't forget to maintain the important ones, especially kraken late game.
