Threat Hero Notes

  No Threat

  No Threat
3
Petal Easy to burst down, just make sure she doesn't catch you in her ultimate.
4
Krul An extended duelist, Krul rarely has time to do much damage to Taka.
4
Koshka The lesser assassin should be the first to fall.
4
Taka Be the better Taka! Match his X-Retsu with your Kaiten, and it's no contest. The first to Kaku will be the first to get killed when his box wears off.
5
Celeste Fresh meat. Don't get stunned!
5
Ardan Thick skin, but not too pokey. Ignore him until his allies are slain.
5
Fortress Wolves got your scent? Good luck hiding! Otherwise, this is your favorite support character to try to burst down.
5
Glaive Bloodsong is a great way to die when you're invisible. Don't get knocked into the middle of a fight unawares. Not a bad target to kill, though.
5
Vox He can always hear you with Pulse, and he's nearly as slippery as a member of House Kamuha.
6
SAW High DPS is a problem, but most builds aren't tanky enough to not fear Taka.
6
Skaarf Skaarf's goop can put a damper on Taka's mobility. And burning is never enjoyable.
6
Ringo Though squishy, Ringo's Achilles Shot and high DPS are bad news. Also, you can escape from any fight, but not if Hellfire Brew is launched first!
7
Joule Like Catherine, stuns and armor are a solid counter.
7
Adagio This Seraphim's favorite pastime is sharing the sneaky assassin with arcane fire. Try not to engage lightly, as you might not return.
8
Catherine Stuns, area affect silence, a shield that reflects burst damage on your allies, and a penchant for never dying makes Catherine a real buzz-kill.

Early Game Top

Taka is the knife of any good team. Right from the start, he should be killing anything he sees. Grab a Weapon Blade for quicker jungling or to dole out more damage in an early team fight. Speaking of team fights, you'll be better off if you have a couple Halcyon Potions in the first minutes. Taka is always a favorite first target for an enemy team, since he deals and receives damage more quickly than most. If you get in a tousle, deal as much damage as you can before cycling out of the fray and chugging a potion. With any luck, an unfortunate soul will follow you while you heal, and you'll be around long enough to strike the killing blow on an enemy your allies have weakened.

While jungling, try to shamelessly take as many last hits as possible. The game's best assassin deserves no less, and money in the pocket of a support character is less money used for killing. This is especially true until level 6, when X-Retsu changes the game. This invariably comes up right around the time the gold mine becomes ripe, so it's critical to be able to Kaku in and steal it from an unsuspecting enemy team.
