Introduction, Tips And Tricks Top

When you think of Adagio, you will most probably use him as a roamer. This is probably because of his A(healing) and his B. But he has the ability to carry an entire all by himself. And when played right, He will be feared. A quick trick with Adagio before I explain his items and Strategies : Your A and B Synergise well together especially when used on yourself. Apply your A ability on yourself and immediately apply your B ability on yourself. Do this Just before a 1v1 fight begins. You will start hitting your opponent with hard and fast auto attacks. This combination will not only allow you to annihilate your opponent, you will finish off with a full bar of mana and a high health pool!
Quick Notes About the Combination:

Do it close enough so that when you activate your A ability your target will receive Arcane Fire.
The Later you go in game the more items you have. the more items you have the damage you do.

Early Game Top

During early games you will do the usual, farm. Every now and then harass your opposing laner to deny his farm. Doing this consistently will give you a huge advantage depending on how frequently you do it. Your main focus early game is to get your alternating current. Its attack speed will synergise with your B ability. And since it is a CP build the crystal damage in your auto attacks help a lot since you don't do much damage to begin with. But don't just try to build the alternating current alone and rush it. By the time you build the alternating current you should have tier 1 boots and a reflex block ( at least oak heart).

Core Items Top

Before We talk about mid game, we have to talk about the core items. I will cover each item one by one

Alternating Current: As stated earlier the crystal auto attack damage comes in handy since your basic attacks don't do mach damage at first. The attack speed help with your A and B combo( stated in the first chapter) and overall auto attacks.

Journey Boots: With every build you need boots!

Aegis: You always need defence(DUH), But why aegis? It provides both Reflex block and shield/armour.

Frostburn: Your A and B combo will deal so much damage that enemies will run away from you with the help of the alternating current and your B ability your auto attacks will have crystal damage. And with with that you will slow your opponent to catch up with them every time. This can be used defensively by running away from opponents.

Shatterglass: Increases how fast you kill your enemies with your A and B combinations and makes your alternation current more of a threat than usual. Oh and your ult will destroy

Mid Game Top

By mid game you should have your ult. You wouldn't have items that significantly increases it damage but ignore that fact. Your opponents wouldn't have high armour at that time, so keep your ult ready cause a team fight can start anytime. If everyone is in lane and not in a team fight you would be the one to start a team fight. It is a risky more but harass each one of the enemy team, while staying away from ranged heroes who do lots of damage fast(e.g. Ringo with his slow, Vox). At the same time bring your team closer to them but not too close or things could go bad quick. As soon as the team fight begins unleash your ultimate. You might get a kill or 2 depending on how much damage your team has done to the enemies by the time your ultimate hits them. If not you will do enough damage for them to flee or get a kill using your B ability

Situational Items Top

There are 2 situational items for CP adagio, eve of Harvest And Broken myth. Preferably I go with eve of harvest because of the survivability it provides with its life steal. Eve of harvest should also be your primary pick. But why wasn't it a core item? Because you can go a whole game without it. But why would you go a game without it? When you are up against Tanky opponents ( e.g. Catherine, Phinn) Check the scoreboard regularly to see what your opponents are building. you should know whether they have too much armour of not. But if there is a Catherine player on the opposing team then you only take Broken Myth. Cause no matter what Catherine is a tank. Start building 1 of these 2 items after finishing your alternating current.

Final Notes Top

With Adagio you need to move around the map a lot and stay near your teammates. because when a team fight begins and your team is on the losing end your ultimate can turn the tides to your favour. So use your ultimate wisely. Don't use it just to kill a fleeing enemy use it when you can deal alot of damage to your enemies. Nevermind if you don't get a kill, At least you stopped your enemies from doing anything bad to your team...
