Jeah, this build provides a huge amount of damage, but be careful of stunns and the front of teamfights.
Second, when there is a Joule in any team, her mates will probably go for mostly squishy heroes and if you can’t tank the enemys damage, your team will lose the match.
I tryed it botlane with yates as a sort of tanky cp-jungle and adagio as tank. Worked out well.
Harmony.

I might've gotten Monocles, tornado trigger, and serpent's mask (in this order) htat way you have a early crit chance and heals... Then I go for the Sorrowblade and last monocle

Very good build. However, I must say that this joule has VERY low damage sustainability and can be killed easily, if jumped on, and if they guy you're facing has the high damage potential like you and he initiates. None the less, this build is very good, and I have gotten 1,000 damage crits with Thunder Strike. Blew my mind first time I saw this. this Joule IS VERY EXPENSIVE and you usually will not obtain the full build unless you farm like crazy up to 30 minutes, which is rare. however, if you do achieve this, you will have gotten a fearsome weapon.

In shorter words, this Joule has a VERY high damage output and works well with tanky allies and other stunners, like Catherine or Celeste, as you can easily target your enemies with your Thunder Strike, and while the enemies come for you, Catherine and Celeste will take care of them again using stuns.

P.S. A Celeste only will not work out well. Unless its 2 vs 1...

Also, I find this combo VERY efficient. Build and play correctly, and you'll be vainglorious in no time!

Switch Trigger With Serpents Mask

The tornado trigger decreases the cool down of thunder strike.

I used it and it was really good!

That works but since this thread focuses on critical hits, this would work fine as well

She can't initiate a team fight without being a tanky. That's why I don't agree with a build. Damage is okay, but if you can't deal with it. :/

Amazing build, played 5 games with this build and won all 5 of them.
I love the attack speed on this build :)

My build for joule is a nuke. boots, frostburn, clockwork, shatterglass, warhorn and another shatterglass (or broken myth if someone uses aegis or fountain of renewal) and use crystal infusion for more crystal damage. Try using this. Use rocket leap then cast immediately your big red button. Goodbye world :)

I used it and it was really good!

This build is wonderful! The Blazing Salvo and Swift shooter combo indicates that this build is more ready for Tornado trigger before it is ready for Sorrowblade, but this helps shorten Thunderstrike's cooldown, and it's actually pretty smart! This build is very good, no changes please, except for gow it was made. For instance, you can rate who is the most dangerous counter to your build. I'm gonna try this build out RIGHT NOW, thanks for the idea!
