This worked well for me. Slow start but come about Lvl 6 things take quite the turn in your favor.

Regarding your question, I believe that it is due to the fact that:
1. Default suggested build from Super Evil featured Red Ringo
2. Most people see Red, so they do Red as well

Simply the best for me as an universal build! Thanks for your information, I appreciate a lot. Have been using it for 1 month already. Though, 2 times out of 10, I may use red builds. For example, if there're tanks like Cathy/Ardan, or lack of ranged heroes in enemy team. In a case, when, at least 2 of my enemies are Adagio, Skaarf, Petal, SAW (they got that auto-attack range better, than Ringo's), I may become a dead meat on the Halcyon Fold with my useless tryings to get close enough to shoot.
And I really don't understand, why I always meet red Ringos and very rarely blue in my region??

I usually go CP Skaarf, can't be that different right?...
