What to Build When Top

Supporting the Laner until mines pop up is generally the best way to get gold for the early Shatterglass,
Although before you start building crystal you may want to have some Sprint Boots.
Once you have your Shatterglass and Travel Boots you should either get Frostburn or Crucible depending on whether you're pushing or being pushed, if you get the Frostburn then you will at least need a Reflex Block for when you're channelling (whichever item you don't get, get it next)
Next you can go for either the Eve of Harvest or the warhorn this isn't particularly situational, just personal preference, I tend to get the Eve of Harvest first.

Strategy Top

Gift Of Fire
Adagio passive Arcane Renewal means that he pretty much has unlimited energy if you use Gift of Fire properly, try not to heal people allies unless they realy need it or are surrounded by a wave of minions. Use your Sprint Boots to dash near an enemy then Gift of Fire on yourself to slow them, then use your Verse of Judgement and Reflex Block to stun them and do heaps of damage.
Agent of Wrath
Use this on your ally with the highest DPS (usually the Laner) or if you end up going for the Alternating Current then you can use it on you, only use Agent of Wrath when you know the person you're using it on is about to get some hits in.
