You can switch it up, but not untill Lvl.6 (obviously)
I deeply suggest that you max out Heliogenisis. It'll do more damage and you can use it more frequently.
Leave Core Collaspe alone, and don't max it out.
Tip: When using Solar Storm, hold your finger on the map and then tap. It'll make sure that you're shooting the target that you want to hit.
In the beginning buy the battery (in the ability section)- which will help you to not run out of energy, and some halcyon potions (in the consumable section)- that will help you stay alive. Later in the game, I suggest you buy some boots to help you escape. That is what I sugggest. Don't forget to build up on crystal power because that is what Celeste is all about.
