About Me Top

Hi.

My IGN is Swyntraz and I am currently am in Got Swagger Silver.I usually play Ringo Reim Skye and Blackfeather.

Due to mystery chest and glory I seem to have a lot of heroes so I try to use them all.
I prefer to jungle (even with lane characters) but can lane or roam at a pinch.

I am fond of an aggressive invade style game. However the solo queue which I frequent has very little scope for this.As a result I prefer to play more sturdy heroes who can take on two people at once or fast high damage heroes so that I can invade on my own.

The Misery Of Ranked Solo Queue Top

Ranked Solo Queue for the most part is terrible. It is so bad that sometimes you'll be howling in frustration.A major flaw in vain glory is that they have yet put in an anger emote which can be directed at a person. The question mark is frankly not enough for the idiocy which many people are forced to face.Perhaps a simple auto press sentence such as BUY SHIELD YOU.... Should be in place. But I digress.

Most of the time due to terrible match ups one loses ones rank wholesale. And it takes more matches to gain the same points than it does to lose them.I used to be in the illusion that once I got high enough in the leagues (got swagger was too cool at the time)it would stop.Sadly this isn't the case and I expect it won't change till atleast simply amazing. But maybe this too is a dream and it'll be like this in vainglorious also.

Anyhow for now one has to just improve one's skills so that one can carry the team and hope that good team mates show up.Ive found and probably lots of other people too no doubt that after 9:30 in the night the teams improve. This isn't constant though

Krul In Solo Queue Top

My experience of Krul as a teammate has been pretty bad. Most Krul players have a feeling that they are absolutely invincible and so they buy two tornado triggers no shield and recklessly attack the opponent team even 1v3.When I play crystal ringo in my mind I see Krul as a 3 second meat shield so that I can use hellfire brew without getting interrupted.

The other bad habit of Krul is to constantly farm in the corner while his team is getting wiped out. After which he will go and give the opponents a free ace.

When I got Krul I did not want to use him but after playing for sometime I realised he's incredibly effective

How to be super effective as Krul Top

In the first place if you like to play weapon Krul I'd recommend seeing the two top guides for Krul juggernaut and expert play. They are very useful but I don't particularly like breaking point. Also most of my opponent are low Hp and high damage hence there is not much time to build stacks and I get bursted down.Though that is probably due to my inexperience

The advantage of Krul is that he's really scary. The main advantage of heroes like Glaive Skye and Krul is the intimidation factor they have...Glaive cleave and large body, Skye's explosions barrage and fast movement and Krul's ability to come back from anything really cause players to panic and make wrong decisions.Just throwing the sword in the correct direction with decent timing forms as much a wall as Ardans gauntlet as it it completely disrupts team play while the opponents scramble to avoid it.Also if Krul is attacking any target usually every hero rushes there. This can be extremely useful in taking down turrets. All one has to do is to attack the crystal sentry on your own and ping teammates at the turret.Instantly every hero abandons the turret and comes to murder you (your teammates haven't attacked yet). You take the sentry (super fast since you've got objective destroyer stormcrown)and then deal heavy damage to the enemy team before dying. If you don't die you've got the turret ace and one life of the crystal sentry removed.Even if the attack on the turret fails (maybe minions weren't there or what not)even then this will be an advantage in the jungle later.

Tips Top

A useful tip which I picked up is that if you don't upgrade your second ability at lvl 5 you can spend it on the ability you want at lvl 6.
An example:I have lvl 3 spectral smite and lvl 1 dead man's.At lvl 5 don't upgrade anything. At lvl 6 you will be able to upgrade smite to 4 and get the ult as well.At lvl 7 you will be forced to take dead mans rush.

Another one is that when you die in the bush your shadows empower me perk gets activated and you will be able to sprint out of the sanctuary on respawn.

A very popular yet difficult tactic is to throw From Hells Heart behind you then sprint past your target. The sword returns at a very high speed making it next to impossible to dodge. Its a guaranteed 3.5 second stun which no one can ever escape(if stunned). Please do not waste this on Gwen.

A variation of this is to throw a from hells heart before an opponent dashes towards you (or an objective)
and then have the sword slam into them from behind.I have used this with great success especially on melee heroes who attack turrets as they generally don't shift their spot.

A Krul vs Krul battle is the worst possible scenario. It reminds me of plants vs zombies endless mode.I suggest running away if your teammates are not near. Its a waste of your time.If you carry atlas pauldrons though it's a completely different story.ALWAYS CARRY PAULDRONS WHEN AGAINST KRUL AND SAW.I cannot stress this enough it is truly frustrating when melee heroes with gap closing abilities build metal jacket against these opponents. You are not only making a spot on your inventory useless you are also dooming your whole team.

Dead Mans Rush can pass through thin walls like the ones at the edge of the gold miners pit,the crystal sentry's station and the edge of the wall near the small double camp.Use this as per the situation but remember vision is necessary at the location.

If you are ever close to death because of conditions like burning, bleeding etc ....sprint to any minion or jungle camp then spam dead mans rush and quickly spectral smite. This has saved me often from Ringo's ultimate especially.

I am sure there are many more inventive ways to play with Krul please mention them in the comments
