Before Game Starts Top

Before I begin this analysis, I am aware that WP Adagio is the current meta, and in most cases superior to CP Adagio. However, I am stubborn and worked on a build that will work for Adagio that is CP support/ semi-carry. Before just starting a match, using this build and assuming it will work wonders, I have three points for you
I am fairly new to Adagio, having played him in general about 15 times, with this build about 8-10 times
    This build
WILL NOT WORK unless someone else on your team is kind of tanky (after my 8-10 test matches, I found this out. Ideal teammates are Glaive,Koshka)
This build may not work first try, especially if you are familiar with meta Adagio, because it is a different playstyle

Now, back to what I was saying, this build works best with a relatively tanky jungle partner, and at least one WP carry on the team (although I shouldn't have to specify that, some people think 3 crystal players is a good idea) with that in mind, on to actual gameplay.

Gameplay Top

Start with a contract, potions, and a flare, then head into the jungle like a normal protector. I pop the flare around the 0:40 mark just to know what the enemy is doing, but you can use the flare whenever you feel it is necessary. help your jungler farm by tanking the jungle creeps, but always be aware of an opportunity for a gank or stealing an enemy camp. The first few minutes should mostly just be farming the jungle, or rotating up to the lane when your laner dies or recalls to base. The first item that you should get (with the only exception being boots) is the Alternating Current. This will be your main source of damage for the rest of the game, so I like to get it as early as possible. The next 2 items should be Clockwork and Shatterglass, the order of the two not being entirely important. I also upgrade to t2 boots sooner than normal just so I can roam better and get to teamfights to influence them in our teams favor. Once you have your core set of items, take a good look at what the enemy team is building, and look at your experiences in the teamfights and pick 2 items that will best counter the enemy builds
Crucible: enemy has ult that is easily countered by reflex block, or you are getting bursted down too fast
Atlas Pauldron:Enemy carry is reliant on attack speed (SAW, Krul, Ringo, Skaarf)
Fountain of Renewal:good teamwide heal, plus good health item for when the enemy has aftershocks
Warhorn:always useful for escaping, chasing, and farming more efficiently
Frostburn: Will help stick to enemies, basically granting the self-cast part of GoF for allies as well as yourself
Shatterglass: Really only for if you want crazy healing or damage for your auto attacks

Just pick 2 that best suit the situation in the game, and go from there.

Conclusion Top

CP Adagio is definitely off-meta, but personally I find it really fun to use. If you want to try something new instead of always using Catherine, Ardan, or Tankshka, give this build a try. Like I said way back at the beginning, I haven't played all that much of Adagio despite having the game for 5 months, so any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.
