Sorry guys, accidental publish. Still working on this.

Introduction Top

Hello, this is 000calc1, or calc1223 in game. Taka is an amazing character, with ridiculously strong burst. However, she is quickly focused down and killed/driven off in team fights, and late game, where the game is won, is all about teamfighting. Also, her early game up until she gets Tension Bow and X-Retsu is weak. To amend for this, I play a semi-tanky, sustain Taka. This build is unique as it is not all about an initial burst, then getting out, something typically not done on Taka. Please up vote if you enjoy! If not, leave a comment and explain why you are dissatisfied. Will be updating this guide regularly.

Starting Off Top

When you start off, buy a Weapon Blade and 2 Halcyon Potion. It's debated whether Swift Shooter or Weapon Blade is a better starting item, and I personally prefer Swift Shooter (faster jungle clear). However, on Taka, that is not true. When clearing jungle camps, you want to only hit the jungle creeps when you will critical strike. So, additional attack speed early on will not benefit you.

Your House Kamuha heroic perk guarantees one critical every 5 seconds, down to one every .4 seconds for 5 Ki stacks. Therefore, you want to always keep your Ki Stacks at 5, shown above, and only strike when you see the icon indicating a guaranteed critical strike, also shown above. Each critical strike will grant you life steal, a burst of speed, and cool down acceleration. To get a Ki stack, perform a critical strike, or use an ability. While clearing the jungle, if your Ki stacks are about to disappear, don't be afraid to use Kaku to replenish the stacks.

Early Game Top

When shopping, remember that your Ki stacks are slowly disappearing. Therefore, shop as quickly as possible. First, you want to get double weapon blades, then a Swift Shooter, and then Heavy Steel and Blazing Salvo. Of course, it would take an awfully long time to get these items farming solely on your side of the jungle. Taka has a notoriously weak early game. However, with full Ki stacks, and this build you will be able to shred most other enemies (other than Koshka). You must be able to stutter step, however. Frequently invade the enemy jungle
