The Beginning. Top
To start things off, simply buy book of eulogies and a couple of potions. Head out to the jungle and farm some gold as you would normally do. I would usually unlock his second ability first as a way of getting out of any trouble you might come across at the start. But upgrading it last from then on.
The Next Chapter. Top
First work towards a serpents mask for larger hits and nice heals on yourself, this helps him sustain himself in jungle and also helps you in 1v1's when you have your crit hits with taka up and running.
Frequent Heals. Top
Now start working towards a tornado trigger for more frequent heals, higher critical hit damage and just generally a quicker attack speed! This is where 1v1's become noticeably easier, however at this point you are still not invincible
The Beginning Of Defence. Top
Here we get our first real defensive item! Fountain of renewal. Now when in a 1v1 or team battle it's a lot easier to notice the invincibility kicking in, literally you're hitting hard, healing quickly, now have more health and can also heal yourself massively whilst close to death! It can turn fights completely on its head if you continue attacking and don't lose your nerve.
Getting Ridiculous. Top
Getting another serpents mask will mean your heals now are alone enough to take on 1-2 players, so long as you keep hitting for the heals! If you get low continue hitting and tap renewal for a complete turnaround of the battle you are having.
Complete Invinsibility. Top
The completed Taka is finished off with another renewal. It might seem strange but when all 3 are attacking you it now becomes possible to survive in a lot cases. So long as you hold your nerve and keep attacking, whilst using your renewals at the right times for the best heals!
