Your job is not in the Lane. Top

The game is an economic battle with two fronts. The lane and the jungle. As Taka your job is in the jungle. If you see an easy kill in the lane and you're close by then take it. If the enemy is aced and you think you can take down a turret then take it and the extra 300 it provides, but the bulk of your fight will be in the jungle. Further you should absolutely not help the laner kill minions, all it does is rob him of cash and experience. In any match where there are two laners on one side and one on the other, the team which splits the minions levels slower. Your job is to level in the jungle and prevent your enemy junglers from doing the same. Taka's Kaku provides is perhaps the most effective tool in the game for harvesting the enemies jungle, because you know you can escape if necessary.

A good start Top

I like to start in the middle of the jungle, if i can take the minions from the enemy's side, that provides will allow me to level faster than the enemy jungler. Often your the opposing team will attempt to mine a minion, hide in a bush and use Kaiten to steal the minion. If an enemy engages you while you are mining, run to a distance which causes the minion to attack the enemy and not you. The strategy can very greatly depending on if you are fighting one or two enemies or if you have a partner to help you. NEVER be out numbered this early in the game. My second item is Sprint Boots, because they help harvest minions faster, allow me to escape and allow me to prevent enemies from escaping. Buy lots of potions as they allow you to keep yourself at enough health to survive a fight and engage enemies. STAY OUT OF THE LANE, ignore the annoying green go sign the laner keeps putting on our first turret, that's his fight not yours. It's also not your job to keep him alive, your job is to level in the jungle and keep the enemy from doing the same.

Level 6 Top

Level 6 transforms Taka with the addition of X-Retsu, now you can dash in and dash out. This is the key for ambushing also it gives you 3 Ki stacks giving you a much higher chance of a critical hit, begin every fight with it. If you see the enemy laner has half health you can ambush and kill him. Even when all 3 enemies are there, you can dash with X-Retsu, hit once, do Kaiten and then Kaku to disappear. X-Retsu gives you a large striking distance, that means if the enemy thinks he is safe standing next to his turret with low health you can dash in and prove him wrong for the easy kill(assuming you have a decent amount of health). In a team fight Kaku allows you to be a meat shield as they will focus fire on you only for you to disappear before they get the kill. It's because of Kaku that Taka surprisingly makes an excellent Tank.

Transform to Tank Top

If you played well to this point you should be feared by the enemy, your Sorrowblade and Travel Boots have allowed you to mine more effectively than the enemy and likely be the kill leader. The enemy will target you first in any fight, thats why you now focus all your cash on defensive items. Health is a must get at least Dragonheart. Counter-build, look at the items the enemy has, if they are all crystal, get a Light Shield then Kinetic Shield, if weapon damage, Light Armor then Coat of Plates. If mixed one of each. Early in the game dying is not that big of a deal because you come back quickly, but late in the game staying alive is the key to winning and with all your kills, you will be the target. If you can get 3 tier 3 defensive items and use Kaku wisely, you will be very hard to kill.

Breaking Point Top

This is always one of my last items. Breaking Point stacks with each hit to do more weapon damage and cut through armor. It only works if you are engaged in long battles. If the enemy is set up for max damage (crystal or weapon), then they will kill you too fast for Breaking point to make much of a difference. But, if you find yourself in a defensive struggle, Breaking Point can be the deciding factor. In this type of match you will engage the enemy and without them realizing, you will start doing massive damage. On many occasions I have acquired 15+ stacks, aced the enemy and won the game.
