Introduction Top

My experience with other build strategies has not been all that satisfying due to the lack of damage. Using other builds, I spend a lot of time running my life without dealing enough damage. And I find it difficult to secure kills without the extra damage. It's been too often that I had to watch enemies flee with almost no health. More importantly, I rarely end up with more kills than supports which is not the way I want to play.

With this high damage build, you can expect a lot more kills and supports. Enemies will be less likely to poke you in lane because of the damage. You can push turrets and clear jungle faster. You can instant kill most heroes with the core build even without using your ultimate. Last but not least, you can solo the Kraken with a bit more than half HP once you reach the final build (with alternate build 3). The final build is death himself.

Now let's get to business.

Progress Stratgy Top

Early Game:
You are a farmer. Play defensively, poke a bit and support your teammates with ganks and escapes. You are pretty intimidating early game in jungle, so take advantage.

Mid Game:
This is right after you make your first return. You should focus on farming and poking enemies by placing stars in tactical positions. Try to get your enemies low on health and let your team to do the chasing. Never take ANY risk alone, and keep up with your team if strats are called.

Tug of War:
This stage of battle is the most situational and non-deterministic. This is when you get you core items and everyone try to chase and gank you. Don't get the frostburn, its 35% max slow passive is absolutely nothing to real threats like taka, glaive and ringo (not to mention you have to hit them first). For other heroes, you can kite them all day anyway, why bother with the slow. Let your team to coordinate the battle, and most of the time you should stay way behind them anyway. Instead, you focus on dealing damage with the shatterglass. One or two kills are pretty typical in team fights if played right. However, you'll depend on your team to chase and finish final blows. You are unable to chase and you don't want that risk either. Keep up farming alone the way, you want the final build.

Late Game:
This is the time you get most of the final items and turn into a game changer. You can pretty much kill any enemy carry with pretty much any combo. Any attempt to approach you are subject to instant death. You can solo steal krakens either alone or at a safe distance from the enemy. All of your skills are AOE, you can nip an enemy team gank in the bud with your combos. If you get to three shatterglass, victory is secured.

Use alternative builds to match your playstyle and to situations. I almost always get a crucible, not only because Celeste is extremely squishy, but also it's a team item.
