Reim Reim will be chain banned so do not even worry about him.
1
Krul Chances are, if you are using this build in a ranked match, you will be using Krul. Thus, the enemy will not be able to choose Krul. :)
2
Rona Let your laner poke around at her for a bit. If she engages, she will use Into The Fray and FoeSplitter. This gives you room to get rid of the enemy carry. Make sure you engage at the right time, and make sure your support and laner know what to do.
2
Alpha Dodge/Stun Explosion. Easy to kill. Target laner before her. If you think she is a problem, then go get 8 stacks on her and she will be useless.
3
Ozo Pretty easy to take down. Make sure you invade early-mid game. Reflex block his ULT if necessary.
4
Fortress Make sure that before the teamfight, you get rid of wolves first.
4
Adagio Reflex block ULT, avoid early game. Not much of a problem now because he cannot buff a carry that well now.
4
Celeste Easy peasy. Make sure your team gets a Warhorn. When you are ready, with your heroic perk ready, let your support use Warhorn. Dodge all her attacks and go behind her and start attacking. Going behind her will make it easy to dodge the stun: just walk past the Core Collapse. If you really need to, Reflex Block the stun.
4
Joule Get behind Joule and start attacking her. Either you or your teammates will attack her back side. If she escapes, make sure you use From Hell's Heart to catch her.
4
Kestrel Surprise her and get 8 stacks on her to finish her off with a smite.
4
Phinn Block Anchor, dodge stun.
4
Ringo He is nerfed badly. Rush Atlas if he is doing lots of damage, and pressure early game.
5
Blackfeather Make sure your laner is able to defend himself. Pressure BlackFeather early on, since smiting will be easy. Once he gets his ULT, you either have to smite early or predict when he will dash away. Rush Atlas after Travel Boots and Shiversteel.
5
Glaive Easy to kill early-mid game. Invade. Do not let him counter jungle. If he gets TBOW, you can thank your Shiversteel for that extra health. Block his afterburn if necessary.
5
Taka Powerful early game. Make sure you get a light shield if he goes CP, or a Coat of Plates if he goes WP. Smite early. However, if you have your ULT ready, put a ping on him when you think ge is going to disappear. Then, look at the mini map to see where he goes. Throw the sword at that approximate location. Get 8 stacks, smite. Done.
6
Skaarf Get a Warhorn and rush past him. Get 8 stacks on him and smite when you think he is low. Make sure your teammates target him first.
6
SAW Painful early game. After you get Shiversteel and Travel Boots, rush an Atlas Pauldron if the SAW is WP.
6
Catherine Reflex Block her stuns, if needed. Her silence is a pain. Make sure you take her out early game to make sure she does not reach level 6 quickly. You can also have Catherine use her stun on another teammate to save that Reflex Block to block that silence. Your teammate should block that stun though.
6
Skye Dodge Forward Barrage, attack her on the side (not behind her or in front of her). Use Dead Man's Rush to catch up to her if she uses Suri Strike. Make sure not to overextend. If you notice she has used her Suri Strike, go all out on her.
7
Petal Frostburn is a big problem. Petal will kite you if you do not know what to do. Let your teammates get rid of the munions first. Maybe poke Petal a bit. Make sure Petal does not get a full Spontaneous Combustion. Dodge her seeds. The instant she uses Trampoline, use Dead Man's Rush, but be careful not to overextend. You probably do not want to fight Petal early on. Save it for late game.
7
Koshka Avoid early game, levels 1-2. Do not get invaded: if you do, make sure to counter jungle. Get a shield ASAP. At level 3, if you have Two swift shooter+Shield+Oakheart, you will be fine. Maybe even invade her if you are confident. Do not invade if she has a shield though.
8
Ardan Vanguard is annoying, it gets you kited easily. Secure Ardan in draft. If not possible, go for Fortress.

Tips on using this build Top

This build is not for beginners. You must know how to use Reflex Block well and you must know how other heroes work. Follow instructions on build path.

Mechanics Top

Dead Man's Rush

Use this ability as a gap closer. You can also use this ability as a barrier if you are on low health. You can also use this ability to dodge attacks.

Spectral Smite

Use this ability to finish off an enemy. You must play Krul enough to get to know how many stacks it takes to kill an enemy. Make sure you smite early on heroes that can block that smite with an ability such as LV6 BlackFeather, Catherine, and Taka.

From Hell's Heart

This is the stun with the longest range in the game. You just need this ability for the stun. Throw it as a super gap closer, or if needed, to cancel an enemy's ability. You can also snipe enemies with this sword, if they are super low on health. Practice your sword throw skills with a friend.

Heroic Perk

You get a speed boost whenever you stay still in a bush for 1.5 seconds. Use that 3 second slow early game, and use the speed boost to engage. This perk is very useful in Krul's kit. Use this perk to gank.

Sword Trick Top

If you see the enemy does not have a reflex block, perform a boomarang throw. Here are the exact steps on how to perform a boomarang throw, resulting in the maximum stun and damage.

Locate your target, and identify the obstacles (other enemy heroes which may block the sword). Try to have your perk ready, if possible.

Throw the sword in a way such that it goes PAST all three heroes. Do this strategically, so that no enemies can block this throw easily (You need practice for this). Make sure the target is between you and the thrown sword at this point.

Here is where your perk comes in, if it is available. Maneuver your position so the sword will fly to the target on the return path. Slow the target. Use reflex block to block potential stuns.

Get successful.

Turret Diving Top

Attack an enemy in range of their turret if and only if:

-The enemy is isolated and helpless (No means of escape), and you have a descent anount of health
-The enemy is isolated, while you have a descent amount of health and a Reflex Block + Boots OR Perk available.
-There are two enemies, and you have a teammate to back you up. The enemies are weaker than you.
-There are two enemies, and you have a significant advantage over your enemies.
-The enemy is extremely low on health, and in medium proximity.

Item choices Top

Why did I choose the items that I chose?

-Sorrowblade provides fundamental WP damage.
-Bonesaw breaks through armor and provides you attack speed. If the enemy is not building armor, go with a Tornado Trigger instead.
-Aegis reduces ability damage and has Reflex Block. Very useful. If the enemy does not have ability items, get a Crucible instead of Aegis
-Atlas Pauldron reduces WP damage and slows down enemy attack. If the enemy deals WP damage but is not that much affected by Atlas Pauldron (such as Joule or any other hero who has a good weapon scale on abilities), get a Metal Jacket instead.
-Journey Boots provide you with movement speed that will help you rotate faster. Its active is useful in escaping and gap closing.
-Shiversteel helps you slow down enemies to make stacking easier.
-Infusions help you increase the chances of winning and reduces the chances of the enemies making a comeback.
