Threat Hero Notes

  No Threat
2
Taka Taka users think they can out-duel you but PROVE THEM WRONG. Your 2nd ability will return tons of damage to Taka and this will force them to back away. But, be cautious that you can 1v1 Taka only when you have your 2nd ability up.
3
Ringo His 1st ability will make it tough to get near to Ringo but that won't stop you from chasing him because you're UNSTOPPABLE REMEMBER.
4
Joule I haven't seen Joule user who is ridicolously overpowered so he or she is not a threat.
5
SAW You can take him down easily but he can take you down easily as well if your 2nd ability is off.
6
Petal Most Petal users that I've encountered were tough to kill because of their items. They mostly use defensive items that makes her a meatshield and damage dealer at the same time.
6
Glaive Glaive deals tons of damage and you're dependent on your 2nd ability. Back away for a few seconds when your 2nd ability is down then charge back when it is up again.
7
  No Threat
8
Krul This is also a threat IF Krul is using blue items. Using blue items can make his lifesteal incredibly high. So it will be hard to take down this hero.
9
  No Threat
10
Adagio This can be a tough matchup between you and Adagio since he can kite you.

Catherine IF THEY COPY THIS BUILD THEN YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME KILLING HER. (WILL BE HARDER IF THEY ARE AS WISE AS ME NYAAARR! )

Creating the Legend Top

Gold and high IQ is necessary to be the best in this game.

Farming gold is easy for Catherine since she has the second ability, which is good for farming, and she's tanky.

Being wise in early game will prevent your enemy to become powerful in the end game ( But I tend to let the enemy go strong so that it will turn into a good fight instead a mediocre one.) An example of being wise is that you should know that you are not that tanky enough to take all that damage and most of the time you will die during clash. Another example is stealing enemy's jungle to prevent their jungler from going stronger.

The Legend is born. Top

Most people don't attack Catherine because she is extremly hard to kill when you got the right items. BUT, a lot of people don't know that she can do much damage to most heroes that are not tanky such as Saw, Ringo, Petal, Taka and Glaive.

Your second ability is essential for tanking heroes damage on you. You have to be wise when to charge and when to retreat. You have to charge on the enemy damage dealer as soon as you pop your 2nd ability. Then, you have to retreat when your 2nd ability is about to cool off because you are nothing without that shield. Or, you can use your Atlas Pauldron to reduce the attack speed of your enemy so that you won't take that much damage then your 2nd ability is ready for use again.

Becoming a pain-in-the-*** for the non-tanky heroes is the another reason why I love playing Catherine. There's 10-30% chance that these heroes can outrun but most of the time they can't unless they have their boots' skill up or Warhorn. Your 1st skill will do TONS of damage to the carry of the team because of your Aftershock and Tension Bow. This initial attack will chunk 25-40% of their total health. Then you can keep chasing them with your 2nd ability on and you can finish it off with your ultimate ability.

REMEMBER, 1. BE SMART 2. KNOW WHEN TO CHARGE AND RETREAT 3. IDENTIFY YOUR TARGET WISELY 4. THE UNIVERSE WILL KNEEL TO YOU.
