Threat Hero Notes
1
Petal Petal's Pets can be stopped or slowed with arcane fire. Petal's range is only slightly longer than Adagio's. Be wary of that.
1
Vox Unknown threat level. I have not played with or against Vox enough to properly assess him. From what I know, his ultimate may prove annoying.
2
Koshka Watch out for the ultimate stun especially while channeling your ultimate. Koshka should not be hard to deal with other than that. Just be prepared to heal yourself.
3
Krul Watch out for the sword throw, especially while channeling your ultimate. Krul's slow can sometimes be a problem. If you are having trouble with enemy Kruls, keep boots open for an escape.
4
Ardan Ardan does not pose a threat of killing you so much as making you less effective. Ardan's shield can get in the way of your attacks and save doomed allies.
4
Adagio Adagio's common damage build can be tough to take down in long fights. Try not to get into 1 on 1 fights and he should be no problem.
5
Celeste Watch out for core collapse. It is dangerous, especially while channeling your ultimate. Celeste's stars are long range so be careful before going in for an attack. Be wary of her ultimate for it does massive damage and can be hard to heal around.
5
Joule Joule poses a stun threat that is an easy land while channeling your ultimate. Use reflex block. Joule's ultimate is very high damaging and is difficult to heal around.
5
Taka Taka's burst damage and fast ability recharge makes him a threat. He is also hard to kill when he decides to run. Hard to kill and packs a punch.
5
SAW Saw is slow and damaging. He can be tough to deal with when revved up. Try to take him on only when you have a teammate to help you.
5
Skaarf Most of Skaarf's attacks pose little threat as they can be avoided or blocked. His ultimate deals massive damage and is tough to heal around. Keeps boots open for such a situation. A teammate with a reliable stun is also helpful against Skaarf.
6
  No Threat
7
Ringo Ringo's superior speed and quick attack speed make him a tough character ti play against. If you are caught off guard, Ringo can finish you off quickly. Keep him at a range and don't let him gain the upper hand.
8
  No Threat
9
Glaive Glaive is my favourite jungler and I like to beat up on Adagios with him. His afterburner can provide a stun, a tactical advantage, and a quick getaway. His health makes him a pain to take down and his long reach, high damage, and area of effect means with the right build, he can be a menace.
10
Catherine Catherine is a very tough character. Her abilities are all pains. She can stun and silence you leaving you and your team open for an attack. She is defensive and hard to bring down. Have a crucible open when dealing with Catherine or she will cripple you.

My Build Top

This is a build for those of you who have not jumped on the damage Adagio bandwagon. This build stays strong throughout the game. It is meant to support and protect teammates while having the potential to take out an entire team with the ultimate skill. I managed to get to the simply amazing skill tier while maining Adagio with this build.

Playing Crystal Adagio Top

I recommend using this build in the lane. Make lots of gold and level up quickly. Do not push too far into the lane and risk getting ganked. Be patient, do not try to put yourself into a life threatening position just to get a kill. Once you are at level 9-11 you should have a clockwork, travel boots and a shatterglass. This is typically 10-13 minutes into the game. At this point, your ultimate should just about be able to take out the whole other team with some help for your teammates. This can lead to important advantages and taking mines or attacking the kraken. Late game, healing and protecting your teammates should be your objective. Your fire can slow and damage enemy heroes and can give you an important edge. Your ultimate will be less effective late game but will still pack a punch. Your basic attacks should be able to do a fair amount of damage with the alternating current. Especially when combined with agent of wrath. Communication is key, be sure to ping your teammates to tactically plan out your attacks. Use flares late game to gain an advantage.

I hope this build helps those of you who like Adagio or newer players who want to a place to start with Adagio. I hope to do more builds in the future. If anyone has any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns please contact me at [email protected]. Feel free to send me a friend request on Vain. My name is Pruneface and I live in the United States. If anyone has analysis of this build vs. Vox feel free to post a comment with your opinions. If you did not like this build, please do not rage and call it bad until you have tried it for yourself. If you do like this build. Give that thumbs up button a click.
