Introduction Top

HEY! I'm xxNovaCorexx and I'm gonna start a series of guides on my Favorite characters to play with different builds and play styles. I'll make it clear if they are builds that I would use or have used in Ranked. Thanks for taking the time to read this. As I play the builds I write about, I'll try to update the content as I progress and as the updates go by, especially adding characters on the threat meter. I'll only put characters I've actually played against. And without further delay, lets get to it.

Happy Hunting!

BY THE WAY< THIS GUIDE ISN'T QUITE DONE YET> STILL NEED TO ADD SOME OF THE CHAPTERS>

General Strategy and Overview Top

Down to business. Yes, I believe this build is effective in ranked games. It's alright on 3V3, but it's most effective in 5V5. It could work out for both jungle and lane (BOT or MID). Here are the main objectives to playing this build well:

1. Typically, Agro Grace early game, especially WP is pretty good. Remember not to overextend. I typically play defensively regardless, but if an ally is diving in, be a bro and assist. You might get a kill or two. Despite being mainly damage for this build, you can still provide the utility that Grace has.

2. As Grace is typically a melee tank support, you're not going to be super agro in the laning phase. Of course, always look for those gank opps, especially in the mid, but focus on getting gold and items. After you get your first tier 3 item and adequate defense, then start to rotate and invade enemy jungle camps.

3. As seen on the threat meter, as a WP Grace, your main targets are the laners of the enemy team which tend to be the least prepped with defense items. During the draft in Ranked mode, pick this build when the enemy team goes with a high damage low defense composition.Avoid taking this build when going against high sustain and versatility team comps. Catch enemy when they overextend or place yourself in front of a pursuing enemy to save allies. Try to come into the battle with a plan. I'll talk about more of that in the next chapter.

Engaging the Enemy Top

Proper engagement is key to any hero really. Even more so with this Crit Queen. What I've found playing this build is that coming in when least expected is the best way to go. I know that should be a common strategy with any hero but bare with me. Allow your allies to engage the enemy first. Get the enemy to commit and attack the back line. If your teammates are good enough to hold out without you, wait till the enemy carries cluster up and use Benediction to initiate. From there, allies should follow your lead and support should focus on keeping YOU alive. Yes, YOU. Despite Grace's natural tankiness, she can still be focused down. I mean you're targeting the damage dealers right? Don't go in without the adequate support. With at least two or three of your core items, you should be able to burst two or even all three of the enemy carries.
