Threat Hero Notes
1
  No Threat
2
Adagio CP Adagio doesn't really deal much damage to you, especially when you have an Aegis. Make sure to stun or crucible when he activates his ult.
3
SAW Not too much of a threat. Pull up your Stormguard and all his bullets will bounce off. (Unless he's crystal saw, but you have an Aegis for that.) Use Atlas Pauldron against him to slow his attack speed. On the other hand, you can always stun him... (Stunning him clears his spin-up)
3
Petal Lol you have an aegis.
4
Celeste Can do damage, even if you have an Aegis. Same as every other hero. It's also really trollish if you use the Stormguard shield to deflect her ult, heheh.
4
Ringo Pull up the shield and rofl. Be careful of his Achilles Shot, though.
4
Ardan You killed his wife, but he can't kill you. Unless he's going full WP. Which, still, is a bad idea.
4
Catherine You don't really hurt her, she doesn't really hurt you. She can stun and silence you, and that can be fatal sometimes.
5
Glaive Isn't really that bad, especially when you have a Metal Jacket. Watch out for that Afterburn.
5
Joule With the recent Joule buff it's going to be much harder to kill her. Pull up your shield or crucible if she's ulting, it deflects nearly all of the damage.
5
Vox Can kite you. Won't do much if he's building CP, though.
6
Koshka Meh. Reflex block her ult, stun her so your team can kill her. Easy enough. You won't last long on you own.
6
Taka Aegis, stun, stormguard. It's that simple. Run if you're alone, you cant really escape his Kaku. Make sure you're always near a teammate if there's an enemy Taka.
6
Krul You don't wanna 1v1 him. If you have teammates, though..
7

9
Skaarf Fan the Flames goes through shields. Especially with the recent buff, he's grown more dangerous. He's pretty squishy though, so just stun and let your team take care of it. Use crucible or stun him when he's about to use his ult on your teammates.

Introduction Top

Bla, bla, bla. Just another tank build. Hey, at least I'm telling you how to play her.

[NOTE: THIS BUILD IS MORE VIABLE IN A PARTY THAT WORKS TOGETHER.]

Early Game Top

Buy Ironguard Contract, 2 Halcyon Potions, and 1 Scout Trap. Go down into the jungle, scout trap the bush left of the central mine, and follow your Jungler around. Tank the damage for him, and let him last hit the creeps. With Ironguard Contract, you earn about 30 gold for every creep. Once there are no more creeps in the jungle, sit in the bush near your laner. You should get some gold from his last hits. If there's an opportunity to gank, gank. Make sure you upgrade your bubble shield, it really helps against those SAWs and Ringos.

Mid Game Top

You should probably have a Crucible and a Lifespring by now. Your laner is more prone to death now. When he dies, get in the lane. Make sure the enemy team doesn't push down your turret. There's also an opportunity to kill creeps for gold in the lane, but make sure you do it when your laner is dead, otherwise you'll be stealing gold from him. Rinse and repeat chapter 1.

[TIP: Your lifespring STILL grants you regen when you're in combat with creeps. It only stops if you attack or get attacked by an enemy hero. Use this to your advantage!]

Late Game Top

This is where support Catherine really starts to shine. You can deflect crazy damage with your bubble shield, and your defensive items help you stay alive longer. You also have Aftershock, which can deal loads of damage if used correctly. Keep in mind that Crucible and Fountain of Renewal also works for your teammates around you. Keep track of their health, and use a Crucible and Fountain Od Renewal appropriately. You should also have Shiversteel by now. Use it to slow enemies when your stun is down. Atlas Pauldron helps to counter enemies with a high attack speed. Use it against SAW or Krul. You can also replace Atlas Pauldron with Metal Jacket (for enemies with high damage/low attack speed), a Crucible (For those times when you just want more health!). You should also have an Aegis at this point. It gives you health, shield, and a reflex block. Use it when Ringo uses his Hellfire Brew on you. You can also use it as a quick way to escape slows.

[TIPS: To use Aftershock effectively, initiate with a stun (cath's stun is considered a basic attack), activate the bubble after Aftershock is off the cooldown, and use your ult if you're in a teamfight. The enemy's health should be around 50% by now!]

Other Important Things Top

ALWAYS overdrive your Stormguard when using cath. It makes her much tankier! Lot of her tankiness and damage comes from Stormguard's effect.

This build doesn't need boots because it's a TANK. Not to mention that Catherine already has a natural escape ability, Merciless Pursuit.

Panzerfaust adds to your armor, so don't forget to stun!

You can soak up quite a bit of damage from turrets and kraken, so don't be afraid to attack turrets if you have a teammate. You can take a few hits.

Halcyon potions are not really good for anything late game except energy regeneration. But even then, killing jungle creeps grants you more. Try to refrain from buying potions mid-late game.

INFUSIONS MAKE CATHERINE 100^6% BETTER.

More stuff later.

Conclusion Top

I hoped you liked my build, or whatever. Have fun soaking up damage, kiddies. With your teammates, of course.
