Early Game Engages Top

So chances are you aren't going to be assassinating the whole enemy team at the start of the match, but if done correctly, you could leave an impression on them. One common tactic is to head straight for the middle jungle objective right out of the gate. Great caution must be employed with this tactic, for the enemy team could be waiting in the midst to turn the tables. A mistimed assault of the jungle objective could result in major losses for you and your team. A better option would be to fire a flare in the enemy jungle to check for threats. If enemies are detected, wait it out. Let the enemy team engage the objective so you have an extra fighter on your side. This could even be baited with a simple hit and run if the opponent isn't biting. Give the objective a big ol' smack and get out of dodge. More likely than not, the opposition will anxiously sprint to take advantage of the ambush. This will play right into your hands as you run out of range of the objective, it will start hitting the enemy. Winning this early game engage makes the rest of the game vastly easier.

Utilizing Your Abilities Top

Alpha uses Core Charges to decimate her target, or targets. Having Aftershock makes your core charges deal crystal damage from the ability and from the item. This extra crystal damage is surprising to early game carries. That is why I recommend rushing to buying Aftershock to take advantage of the extra damage on unsuspecting enemies. Next is making the most of Prime Directive. Prime Directive does exponentially more damage when you have 3 Core Charges as opposed to none. Entering a fight with 3 Charges means you have a decimating Prime Directive waiting to be unleashed on a fleeing enemy. And when it is overdrived, the range increases considerably. Lastly is your ultimate, Termination Protocol. One thing Termination Protocol does well is essentially evaporate unprotected enemy heroes from the Halcyon Fold. As stated in the tips, Alpha can still use her abilities, like Prime Directive, to close the gap and ensure a successful detonation. Prime Directive can be used offensively and defensively. Offensively to deal out huge damage, and defensively to warp to a jungle minion some distance away to avoid pursuing enemies. This can give you time to successfully reboot, then use the item Echo to its fullest potential in giving you another Termination Protocol to use. Be sure to use the Aegis to give you enough time to drop another bomb on the enemy.
