Threat Hero Notes
1
Ringo For a hero with only one arm, he is surprisingly decent... but is no match for a souped-up Joule. Just beware of him near the End Game.
2
Ardan He's a tank, just gather your team and destroy him. Use his kids as bait to lure him in.
3
Skaarf Skaarf is squishy, but run if he uses his ultimate; it silences and will stop your Rocket Leap escape. This little guy is not your average Mushu.
4
Adagio Just don't let him stun you with the Gift of Fire/Verse of Judgement combo. Oh, and run if he casts Agent of Wrath while you're affected by Gift of Fire. General stuff.
5
Joule A mirror match? Your skill level decides the outcome.
5
Taka Generally a threat to every character. Stun him ASAP, before he climbs inside that box you forgot to throw out.
6
Petal Immensely squishy, but those rabbits are "so fluffy you're gonna die".
7
Krul Once again, it's the stun that makes this character a high priority. Use the same rules as you did for Catherine, but just run away faster.
8
Catherine That stun will ruin your match, and your Big Red Button. Use Reflex Block if she is part of the opposition. Preferably save your abilities for when she doesn't have her Stormguard active.
8
Koshka Her stun and damage output is just not nice. Toss a ball of yarn in her path and just run, if your health is low.
9
SAW Almost as dangerous as Glaive is this machine-gun-weilding beast. Rocket Leap away if he uses Suppressing Fire and you're on low health, and just generally stay away unless he is on low health, in which case his DIY armor won't do him much good.
10
Glaive Glaive is, of course, deadly because of his enormous damage output and his Afterburn, which knocks you into the enemy team for annihilation or stops your Ultimate. Oh, and keep an eye on both of your arms; you don't want to lose one while fleeing.

Joule's Attributes Top

- Save Rocket Leap for when a hero, such as Adagio, uses Verse of Judgement.
- Use Thunder Strike as much as possible, in order to keep up your accumulator. This is why the Void Battery is one of your first purchases.
- Your Ultimate, Big Red Button, is best used against multiple opponents in a place where their movement is limited or they are not expecting it (i.e if they are fighting the Kraken). However, bear in mind that it is almost guaranteed to melt an enemy if they have around 1/2 health.

- Joule's Heroic Perk, Heavy Plating, isn't something you need to think about too much in battle; you should be facing your opponent at most times, anyway, if you keep using Thunder Strike, so don't worry too much about your vulnerable back.

Extra Tips and Facts Top

- All of the crystal power in this build creates a devastating Big Red Button, and this still has a 110 second cooldown at level 3, so use it wisely!
- Joule can use her Rocket Leap to jump over walls, so use this as a last-ditch attempt to escape.
- Always predict where the enemy will be when Joule lands, with Rocket Leap; After tapping your landing point, there is a 1.5 second delay, while she is jumping through the air.
- The mupliplier for Joule's Thunder Strike caps at 6, where she will deal up to 25% bonus damage per strike. Don't miss, or this will be reset.
- Joule's Thunder Strike multiplier is now affected when she attacks turrets, as of the Ardan update.
- At max level, both Joule's Rocket Leap and Big Red Button will cost the same amount of energy: 150.
- Possibly invest in a Reflex Block or Aegis, instead of a Lifespring or Fountain of Renewal, so that you can't be stopped when chanelling your Ultimate.
- Big Red Button has a delay of approximately 1 second, before it blasts for 2 seconds.

- Joule is amazing. Period.
