Threat Hero Notes

SAW Kestrel is great for taking out immobile heroes who she can aim her skill shots at with ease. SAW is the perfect example of a slow, vulnerable character.

Baron Just like SAW, Baron has extremely slow attack speed, you just have to watch out for his A ability, which gives him a farther range than SAW.

About Kestrel Top

Kestrel is a "hit or miss" hero. This means that if you mess up with her abilities, you will die but if you fully master her style of play, you can take anyone out.

This stealthy archer is great for sneak attacks and ambushes. All you have to do is drop Active Camo below your enemy's feet and ignite it. BOOOM!!! A stun and a burst of damage are dealt to heroes standing within the circle of death.

About Killer Kestrel Top

Players who play as Kestrel often make the mistake of overreaching and going into the battle zone. She is extremely squishy and will be killed within seconds.

Using Kestrel correctly means maximizing her invisibility and keeping a safe distance between her and the opponents. Do it right and your enemies will never see you coming. Miss a shot and you die.

Ability Breakdown Top

Heroic Perk: Adrenaline (When Kestrel lands a basic attack, she gains bonus attack speed and the energy cost of her abilities is lessened.)
- I do not reccomend you make use of her heroic perk as CO Kestel as you will be focused on dealing damage through your abilities, not your basic attacks.

A Ability: Glimmershot (Kestrel fires a maximum of 4 arrows towards a selected direction. These arrows deal Crystal damage to the first hero, beast or structure impacted. Arrows reload a few seconds after Kestrel has stopped using her bow.)
- This will be your main source of damage. Firing Glimmershot at an opponent standing inside your Active Camo can easily take an opponent out.

B Ability: Active Camo (As she goes invisible, Kestrel drops a circle of mist which can be detonated by her basic attacks and abilities. Heroes standing in this circle when it detonates get stunned and are dealt Crystal damage.)
- Use this ability for surprise attacks or ambushes. Combine this ability with Glimmershot and your enemies will not know what hit them.

C Ability/ Ultimate Ability: 1 Shot 1 Kill (Kestrel fires a single arrow towards a selected direction. The first hero, beast or structure impacted by this ability is dealt massive Crystal damage. This ability's damage is much higher than Glimmershot's.)
- This ability will be your long ranged execute. Aim it at fleeing or dying opponents for an easy kill.

Item Breakdown Top

Journey Boots
- Journey Boots grant you a burst of movement speed that you can use to close in on an opponent or flee from a group of attackers. This item is an essential in every build. No questions asked.

Aegis
- Used to block Crystal damage. Very important against heroes with high bust damage (ex: Skaarf, Ringo, Taka, Koshka, etc.)

Metal Jacket
- Used to lessen weapon damage. Very important against heroes with high basic attack damage (ex: SAW, Glaive, Rona, Krul, etc.)

Shatterglass
- This item increases your Crystal power. It strengthens your Glimmershot and One Shot One Kill and lengthens the invisibility time of Active Camo.

Broken Myth
- This item pierces through opponent's shield. It is very useful for taking out Tanky, and highly defensive heroes (ex: Phinn)

Clockwork
- This lessens the cool down of your abilities, which means you can fire Glimmershot and One Shot One Kill and drop Active Camo more than usual.

How do I use this build??? Top

DO's
- Stay away from the team fight
- Maximize your invincibility and wait for the right time to strike

DONT's
- Get in the thick of a fight and try to defeat heroes 1 on 1... You will lose...
- Shoot everywhere. Heroes could start attacking you and you will not be able to protect yourself with Active Camo, as the cool down for this ability resets at 3 seconds each time you get hit.

Kestrel is a long ranged assassin, not a close ranged fighter. Time your skillshots, aim them well and you will be unstoppable.
