From what I've seen so far is that most Taka players I run into go weapon build, I tried that many times because it's all I saw and I felt it was lacking, the burst just wasn't what I thought it could or should be. So I started messing with crystal builds. It's worked for what I want. I kill even the most people in an X-retsu, Lauren combo. Then just vanish away to safety, it happens so fast even in team fights the other team just panics, I'm in and out in 2 seconds and 90% of the time. Someone dies and the. I just open up again. Now I am messing around a bit more with a cool down reducing items because
The burst is there, so may as well get it fast for team fights. I don't even bother buying boots anymore, I don't think they're needed. Your utility with Kaku to maneuver around the enemy and get away from them is already powerful, even for a chase to get the kill with the range of X-ret.

So when I put up the items you want via early and mid game. I consider early 1-5 mid 6-11 and core 12.
So really that's what you want to be aiming for by those levels accordingly. Make sure you're always buying everything to build up to those items, every little bit of extra crystal power helps. A lot. Get that piercing shard right away early on and then don't mess with getting it to broken myth until after you get shatterglass. After you get shatter and myth, get whatever else you want in any order on that list, I prefer getting the hourglass first because it's cheap and you will be surprised how often that half a second difference helps with escaping.

There are plenty of ways you can approach this, and ultimately it's up to your play style.

What I've developed, works for me, but I'm use to this style since I always play the stealthy burst class in any game I play so, it's second nature.

I never engage in jungle until level six, occasionally I will run to lane and poke, or pick off. Only for a moment, then back to jungle, you really need to focus on getting gold quickly.

Either way back to topic.

Always start with a good position, that's key. Never chase to turrets. Be wary of bushes, basic stuff.

Actually engaging open with X-ret, wait for a single Melee swing, then kaiten. They are either dead at this point or the bleed is going to get them.

After that I always Kaku. Don't be a fool though. Always try and mislead them with it if you can. For example start running any direction, use Kaku, and then change direction. Like a 180, and move. A bush, a team mate. Or a turret, always try and cut corners, whatever can break line of sight, put anything between you and them. Run around a bit and your cool downs are up again and you can do it all over again. It's frightening for the opposing team.

Also, it's always a good idea to let combat engage a bit before you jump so they are not focused on you. Pay attention to what abilities they just used
Or are using.

Anything really. Just open up on them, force cool downs, reset and come back quickly.
