Typically when I play Glaive, I play him as a tank. IMO his A ability makes his initiation game as a tank the best in the game- far better than Catherine's stun. My build in those cases has Warhorn as a core item for the CD accel. The normal build order is: Warhorn, Fountain of Renewal, Atlas Pauldron, another Fountain (or an Aftershock), along with Boots and Battery/Frostburn.

Trust me with Tension Bow, A ability does massive damage and ganks are fatal. I've tried a lot of Tornado Trigger builds. but you end up getting starved until you get enough damage to counter early enemies. Weapon Glaive is way too weak early on and although he has the highest health in the game, he is really squishy for burst enemies (bad defense stats) and has trouble enduring long fights. Besides, if fights are short (and they often are with Glaive), the math favors Tension Bow's damage above Tornado Trigger.

Frostburn is simply there for the energy.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. :)

I've often wondered about Tension Bow on Glaive. I generally prefer Tornado Trigger because attack speed with crit seems so valuable, and I like Serpent's Mask for the lifesteal... but you got Fountain of Renewal for that, which seems like a good deal. Just about any weapons will work with Glaive, but I can see your intimdation factor with the early Tension Bow.

Frostburn seems like an odd choice. It seems like you'd kill the enemy before he gets a chance to run away :) I often have no crystal items at all, instead I go for a 4th weapon, but that's trouble if the enemy goes armor. I do like shorter CDs, so I have grabbed Warhorn especially if I'm tanking the Kraken and want even faster DPS.

Interesting ideas. I like it.
