Ringo Many players who use Ringo stock up on basic attack items, so the slow down on Ringo's Achille's Shot really makes Lyra vulnerable, especially since he is also a ranged fighter.

Basic Information Top

This is the item build I use when I play as Lyra. She goes well with pretty much any team as long as your teammates take the healing and escape advantages she gives. The best team for this Lyra is with at least one other ranged attacker she can pair up with. I usually go in the lane with another hero, but I do not recommend this since the rest of the enemy team is likely to attack you and push the lane even harder than you were.
Lyra is vulnerable to whole enemy team attacks when she is on her own or with one other teammate since enemy heroes tend to try to surround her first. It makes a very difficult escape when she is slowed or stunned, so enemy heroes with those types of abilities are threatening because of her fragility and slow cool downs.

Items Top

Core
  • Stormcrown provides a big increase in damage to your attacks against both heroes and minions, plus providing a quicker cooldown speed, energy recharge, and health. This is the third item I purchase after Energy Battery and Halcyon Potion.
  • Alternating Current helps in adding crystal damage and attack speed, making her effective at pursuits or dealing continuous damage. This is the fourth or fifth item I purchase. To be safe, I recommend buying a Light or Kinetic Shield first.
  • Fountain of Renewal is a good item to have if you want to support and protect your teammates. Keep in mind that it doesn't give as much protection as Aegis.
  • Halcyon Chargers save space in your inventory since it includes boots, health, a quicker cooldown, energy, and energy recharge. Relying on only Stormcrown for recharge and cooldown is not effective so I recommend getting Halcyon Chargers for quicker getaways and energy benefits.

    Add-Ons/Replacements
  • Shiversteel aids in pursuits of fleeing enemies since it slows down their traveling speed, and makes it easier for the whole team to kill them. Shiversteel paired with an attack speed item helps deal more damage to the enemy hero.
  • Crucible is recommended if you want to be a protector for your team in general, but Lyra benefits her team a lot when she uses communal items since her abilities are more for protection. If you choose to get Fountain of Renewal, get Crucible for the Reflex Block. I do not recommend getting both Aegis and Crucible in your inventory if you intend to be a damage dealer as well.
  • Metal Jacket provides additional protection that Fountain of Renewal doesn't give, which is useful because of how fragile Lyra is.
  • Atlas Pauldron supports Fountain of Renewal as well, but this is recommended when your enemies have high attack speed. Consider buying this item when the enemy team has a Ringo, Krul, Rona, or any other hero that people stack up attack speed items on.
  • War Treads help in the retreat of your whole team if you want to be a strong protector, so I recommend getting Clockwork with this item since it does not provide the energy benefits that Halcyon Chargers do.
  • Clockwork helps a lot with Lyra's slow cooldowns and how quickly Lyra's abilities use up energy. Like I said in the previous bullet, if you choose not use buy Halcyon Chargers, I recommend pairing Clockwork and War Treads (or any other boots if you don't have enough gold).
  • Shatterglass increases your crystal power which will also heal your teammates and damage the enemy heroes more when Lyra uses her Imperial Sigil.
