When you start you should always get sprint boots in case you need to chase or run away. You should start off with the small minions near the treyant camp so you can spot any near enemies trying to take your team by surprise. Work your way up back to your spawn killing the minions and collecting the gold along the way. Repeat this process until you get the full set up you need.
You should plan your strategy according to the fellow jungler in the game. Always try to think a step ahead of your opponent making full use of your abilities. Remember, never enter a fight you could never win with your best character. Finally, always count on your your team, don't rush in thinking you need to carry the team. You made it past the same tutorial when you got the game, they now what to do.
If you still cant get the hang of this hero after this then maybe this hero isn't for you. However that's OK because there is a character for everyone and you just need to be able to experiment until your find the right one.
