With these items Ardan is tanky and can put out a good chunk of damage. Towards the end of the game look at your opponents, if they are building crystal go with the Aegis if they are building weapon go with the Metal Jacket.
How to play him Top
Use his A to get to your teammates quickly and save them with your sheild and speed boost. Then turn on the attacker and beat the **** out of them. If a team fight breaks out use your ult to trap the enemies in your Gauntlet. Then if your teammates are smart they will use their ults to finish them while they can't escape.
