Threat Hero Notes
1
Celeste In my opinion, the easiest target for Taka.
2
Skye For me, she is not a problem. But she can be a problem, if you do not know how to deal with her. Wait up, if she uses her B. Then you can use your A. Use the C-A-B strategy.
2
Vox Not a problem.
3
Baron Baron is too slow with his A and B. You can use only your ultimate to deal a quite of damage, while he uses his B to retreat. Be careful to not stick to your teammates while invisible, because of his perk (AoE Damage).
3
Grumpjaw New hero, currently not a problem.
3
Ozo His abilities are pretty bad against an invisible target.
3
Skaarf Pretty easy, watch out for his B though.
4
Idris With a standard C-A-B strategy, he should be down in some seconds.
4
Koshka Koshka cannot hit you if you are invisible. So stay invisible as much as possible.
4
Rona Rona cannot hit you, nor reveal you. But she is quite tanky.
5
Krul Krul needs to stick to a target. But an invisible target is quite hard to stick to. He can ultimate you randomly, but you should always get out to avoid his smite.
5
Ringo Ringo should be much lower in the threat meter. But he is currently pretty good, so he is in the middle.
5
SAW He is not a problem, if you use your C-A-B ability. Just be careful not to jump in, if your B is not up.
6
Kestrel Kestrel can be killed quite easily. Just be careful not to get stunned. Also, if you ultimate her, and she gets invisible, try to get invisible too. You will probably not have your speed buff.
6
Reim He is not bad. Watch out for his B, since he can kill you, if he catches you. But mostly, your speed and invisibility will get you away from him.
7
Adagio Adagio is not that bad, but also not that good against you. Shouldn't be a problem.
7
Catherine She is quite good against you with her B and C. It is a problem if you attack an enemy, since she can just wait your attack up and stun you, followed with a flare and silence.
7
Flicker Like Catherine: Flicker can wait your attack up and slow you, after you do your business. Followed by a flare and you are in danger.
7
Gwen Gwen is pretty good to reveal you with her A. Also, with luck, she can stun you with her C. If this happens, you should be dead. But why is she not such a threat? Well, she is squishy. And we love squishy targets.
8
Alpha Watch out for her A if you are invisible. She has two lives and ignores you mostly, since her job is to kill your Carrier. So, try to kill the enemies Carrier first, and focus him then.
8
Glaive A pretty good counter for Taka. He deals a similar damage to you. After you went invisible, Glaive can immediately follow up with his A to reveal you.
8
Lyra Lyra was a big problem, but not for now. Her B can negate almost all of your abilities. So wait up, until she uses her B. Else you can ultimate a target and use your Reflex Block immediately to block the effects of her B. Then you can use your A and until then, her B should be gone.
8
Phinn Phinn can reveal you with his B while protecting his allies. He mostly waits up until you show up and uses his A on you, after you use your A.
8
Samuel A good Samuel will hit you quite hard. Don't attack him, if his B is up. Also, do not stay with your allies, since his AoE damage will deal a good amount of damage on you.
9
Ardan I believe, one of the strongest Captains against Taka. If you hit the Carrier or the Jungler and you get invisible: Ardan can estimate your position and use his A. The area on effect is quite large. He can slow you and make you visible. Also, his A can protect his teammates pretty good, so will need more time to kill someone (if possible).
9
Blackfeather Early game really easy to kill, but late game impossible (with this build). I would suggest to look for another build. The problem with Blackfeather is: with his A, enemies can detect you, since you will leave a trace. His B and C can be randomly used anywhere to reveal you.
9
Fortress Early not the problem, but his C in the late game will probably kill you in any teamfight.
9
Joule Joule... She is a really good counter against Taka with this build. Since you do not have Broken Myth early in the game (or ever will have a Broken Myth), her perk really hits hard. You really need to use the C-A-B strategy to bring her down. But with her A, B and C, she can easily reveal you. You need to dodge her B as much as possible and regenerate with your B.
9
Lance Lance can reveal you easily with his B. So wait up, until he used his B and then go invisible. Yes, that's it. Only his B is good against Taka, but do not underestimate him. He can save up his B until you make your move, so watch out.
10
Petal The strongest counter to Taka, since her munions will stick to you, even if you are invisible. Even though, Petal is squishy, you as a Taka will always have a cooldown phase, where you cannot do anything. Normally you would get invisible and wait up for the cooldowns to get back in to the fight. But her munions prevents that. So, don't pick Taka against her.

Short Introduction Top

Hi, my name is icedug and I am an EU player. WAIT DON'T GO! I know we are the weakest region, but please read my guide. It is really short.

I assume you know how to play in the jungle, when to rotate, when to gank, when to invade etc. If you really want to know how I do it, please write a comment. Then I will explain some of my playstyle, like General jungling.

Abilities Top

You know his abilities I assume. There are many other guides who have investigated the abilities.

Playstyle Top

I assume: you are here, because you fought against a Taka and he was a god on the field. He destroyed your teammates. The next game, you played him and lost. How is this possible?

The problem is just your playstyle. A little trick, and you will be a god. Stick to the chair, or you'll throw yourself away from the stool (google translate, idk if it is correctly translated).

While you use your B, do nothing.

Yes, that is it. Do not use any abilities, or items. You can move around freely, but watch out for vision and skillshots which can reveal you. Your healthbar is transparent while invisible, but if you get revealed, well rest in peace.

Why is is this important?
Quoted:
While you use your B, do nothing.

Easy to answer: it's a free fountain. You will get so much HP back. Just let the B do his work. A side effect is, you can overview the teamfight and think, what you will do next and the enemy will get really nervous, when you will attack again.

The End Top

"That's it?"
Yes.

"How do I attack a Ringo? What about Glaive? You just told me to wait up my B, nothing more!"
Look how others play Taka. They only use their C, followed up by an A. There is nothing more to it. The only difference that is different between you and other Taka players are: you wait your B up.

"What is your main position and your skill tier?"
I am a jungler and my skill tier is vainglorious with 2530 points (EU Standard). So probably Simply Amazing on NA Standard. -,-
