Introduction Top

Before 1.19 even came out I thought Stormcrown would be a perfect addition to CP Taka build because what CP Taka lacks is jungle clear. Once 1.19 came out, I tested it with a roam Taka build first. This works well, but when I tested this with a jungle CP Taka (i.e. taking all last hits). This makes for a very devastating Taka.

Disclaimer: I used this build to get to level 50 sunlight in about 2-3 weeks with about an 85% + win rate as a jungle carry. But remember - you don't get sunlight if you win before the 15 minute mark.

Just to be clear, this is the type of Taka that most people hate. So you might get a few angry thumbs downs after a game from the other side.

Build Details Top

Before going into the build details. Please frame the entire build in this fashion. This build is specifically for a 12-18 minute game. If your game goes past 18-20 minutes, you should give all farm possible to a strong lane carry.

The build timing should be self explanatory towards the top. Right after you have a Stormguard, you should be stealing as many creeps from the enemy team as possible. Once you have Stormguard and boots, you should not be afraid to steal other's creeps right in front of their eyes because you do more damage to creeps than they do with the same amount of money. If you use Kaiten with Stormguard, you should be able to instantly kill a creep at a health level that normally takes an enemy two to three hits. Kaiten's block will give you a significant advantage in stealing the creeps as well. If you do this on a medic creep, you will be able to hit the enemy and walk away fast enough to keep healing and Kaku away.

Normally, I give myself until 5:30 to get Stormcrown. I also aim to have clockwork as soon as possible afterwards. The goal of these two items is to twofold. The first is to give you a solid 5 stacks of Taka's perk very early into the game. Before level 10 (or level 3 Kaku), you will not be able to have 5 stacks of Taka's perk by just using Kaku. But with good jungle clear instincts, you should be able to keep the 5 anyway. Once you hit level 10, you will be able to have 5 stacks just by using Kaku. This is the key to this build. You will heal while running away from every fight and be able to clear both sides of jungle faster than any other hero.

Once you hit Stormcrown and Clockwork, work as fast as you can through the jungle camps to reach your Broken Myth. Once you hit Broken Myth, keep a Crystal Infusion on you to use before a battle starts. Remember this should be around the 12 minute mark and you are at your strongest. You will need to keep the enemies starved and at home and slowly help your lane carry get more gold from lane, gold mine, and even your side of the jungle as you clear the enemy jungle and enemy heroes. From this point on, I would aim to keep yourself infused all the time and even carry one on you when you're about the run out.

Now that you know the goal of the build, there are a few things that I want you to note as you use this in an actual game. Also, please take my below comments with a grain of salt as it will vary depending on your team and games.

(1) Firstly, don't fight unless you know you can kill or are pretty sure you can kill. This build is specifically about stealing jungle camps and crippling their jungle carry and being at a much higher level than the opposing team.

(2) Secondly, this build is specifically for 12-18 minutes because you want to max out at level 12 when they are at level 7-10 (7 has happened before!). Once everyone gets to 12 and the trickling 5 gold/second brings their items closer to yours, you lose the advantage.

(3) Thirdly, you want to always keep both minion mines to keep pressure on their lane. The goal is to have pressure on their lane so that their support and/or jungle will go help lane while you take down both jungles. By this time, if your teammates don't know your strategy - you might get pressured by your teammates to go and help defend the tower. Don't. Keep at the jungle clear until the enemies are approaching the second tower.

(4) Fourth, since this build is specifically for jungle clear - you need to keep note of when jungle camps pop and when to rotate to their side of the jungle. If you don't have a firm grasp on this, try to communicate to your support to put four mines on the map: one mine on each of both large jungle camps, and one mine close to each of the middle medic camps.

(5) Lastly, don't be afraid! This build is for the reckless and for the brave. This build is for those who are annoying enough to steal jungle camps right in front of the enemies face and run away with barely any health only to heal up with Kaku and potion.

More Disclaimer Top

This is a love or hate build. Your allies can either love it because you are getting such an early win or hate it because you are not helping the lane out and pushing the enemy team to the lane (because the jungle and/or support have nothing to clear in the jungle). Your allies might also hate you for killing both minion mines. But you should remember, as long as the kill count of your creeps + your lane carry's creeps is much larger than their lane carry + jungle carry's creep kill count, then you are doing your job right.

Your enemies will hate you because this build is really an annoying... **!
