house kamuha grants him ki stacks, which enable faster critical hits, 20% lifesteal on crits, and faster cooldowns, shown by a number at the bottom left on your screen. You get one per ability, one per critical hit, and 3 for x retsu, to a max of 5. The circle which shows this number, when filled up, guarantees your next hit as a crit. These stacks wear off when out of combat, meaning you should use kaku to retain them while traveling long distance. Always have 5 of them when fighting enemy heros. Takas first ability,
kaiten, is essentially a free, short cooldown
reflex block. Use it right at the moment when an enemy uses a powerful ability, and avoid it! For example, ringos ult, celestes ult, even joules ult(it jumps over your target, so if your infront of her and she uses BRB, use kaiten to go behind her!)
Kaku, the second ability, is your juke factor. Use it to check bushes, to sneak uo behind unsuspecting, lonely carries, to get away from a fight, or to have extra time before your cooldowns are back! Also, when running away from an enemy, use it and then when invisible, run in the opposite direction! They wont expect it, and youll get away! Remember, direct hits such as kruls sword, and also flares will reveal you in this invisibility. Now, his ult.
X-retsu is op. Use it as such. This is your engage, it gains you 3 stacks of ki! After using this, use basic attacks, then kaiten. But remember, dont just waste kaiten! If they have ults up, save it to dodge that ult! Its not just extra damage, its reflex block built in! Remember to stutter step, which means dont wait for takas full attack animation to show. Move when the damage registers then attack again. It is faster and saves time and speed! Also, you can use kaiten and x retsu to cath up to running enemies, or to run away from them! If your almost dead and being chased, x retsu to a far away minion to save some time and get that distance you need!
tension bow before lv 6, and before 5 minutes. If not, somethings wrong. This is your op boost of damage in the early game. After this, get
journey boots because since taka is a squishy assassin, he needs that extra speed. (Also helps to catch run away carries!) Next you need a
sorrowblade! The damage plus your ki stacks with critical hits helps alot! After that, get a
blazing salvo for tons of fast damage output from the sorrowblade. Then get a
serpent mask, because since in this build we do not have any defence items, you need that extra sustain. You can even run from a fight, get hp from jungle minions, then come back and finish them off! Now you should be building your blazing salvo into a
tornade trigger. Your last item should be another sorrowblade because it just makes the assassinations faster and your sustain more. Remember to engage using X retsu, and remember to save your kaiten for ult dodging when necessary.
