1
Ardan Ardan is almost always surrounded by enemies so keep a look-out
2
Vox Ah, Vox. His range is laughable and your spitfire goop combos should take care of him. He's jumpy though so its annoyingly easy to miss a spitfire but he just can't reach you so sit back, enjoy the show.
3
Petal CP petals rely entirely on their munions and their basic attacks don't do much. Which is good because she has a longer range than you. If she initiates, use a Spitfire and Goop combo to take out her munions and finish her off with your burn. Her munions are way to easy to get rid of so don't fret; let the forest fire begin! However, if she has weapon power (rare) proceed with caution. Her munions are a distraction... though they are still a threat, its her attacks you wanna watch out for see threat meter on Ringo for similar tips. Don't approach her early game. Without items she could destroy you any day. Once you get your Shatterglass though, feel free to confront her but with caution.
3
SAW He's only a danger if you let him be one. He is actually pretty easy to dispose of. He's annoying cause he ruins your farm with his range but the moment he uses his Suppressing Fire, and he will, spitfire, goop combo and basic attack BURN BURN BURN. He'll usually either panic and roadie run or keep attacking which is fine by you if you still have the health because your burn gets unexpectedly worse with each attack.
4
Ringo Ringo's range will beat you any day but your Spitfire is devastating early game. Apply pressure to the lane by lining it up to hit him. If possible land a few basic attacks but don't go past the little golden ring in the center circle of the lane. Stay on your side.
4
Celeste She's squishier than you (Her regen is lower) but her stars are more devastating than your goop early game. However, if you manage to land a spitfire, goop and basic attack. Finish her off! In a one to one, move around a lot so she cant aim her stars. Spitfire is easier to aim and you have more health regen so you should have the upper hand.
4
Fortress Stay away early game. No, really, stay away. He'll bring death on you like a roaring tornado of teeth and claws. Late game, ha! Laugh at him and burn the puppy.
4
Adagio Adagio's slow can be horrible but if he got that close to you might as well finish him off with the good old spit fire goop combo. Watch out for verse of judgement.
4
Krul Krul's actually ok. Like, he needs to get like directly next to you to build stacks so... yeah. He'll think he can take you on and chase you. Don't underestimate the power of the Spitfire kite technique! (See Chapter 1 below)
5
Koshka Koshka will gank you like a queen early game but as the game progresses, you'll get the upper hand for sure. Again with the spit fire, goop combo and declaw the little sucker.
5
Joule Joule is easy to hit but she probably wont worry about that too much. Try and stay away and initiate only with team mates around. Her thunder strike is too bursty.
5
Catherine HER FREAKING LATE GAME STUN. Also, look out stormguard shield because it bounces your damage back on yourself at that is annoying.
5
Phinn Phinn is slow and pretty large. H is basically the easiest target in the whole game. However, in this build you wanna keep AWAY from the enemies to kill them and he really doesn't help. Like at all.
5
Skaarf Who can land their spitfires better? These kind of fights are always fun.
6
Rona Sooooooo bursty. Use your combo when she's red misting because its hard for her to escape with the slow movement speed of red mist.
6
Skye Skye is the chasing queen, watch out for her. She isn't too hard to kill but your not too hard for her to kill either so... yeah.
7
Glaive Glaive is very very annoying. He is super bursty late game and can tough out a lot of fights proceed with caution.
7
Taka Mid-game? You don't stand a chance. Late game? Spit fire and goop combo baby; he'll never know what hit him. He's pretty easy to kill then, actually. Even if he initiates first.

Why Death-Machine? (Build 1) Top

The Death-Machine build is made to get those early kills and to completely dominate late game. However, it is called the Death-Machine for another reason. Skaarf will have low sustain early on and will be killed easily in team fights. This build takes a bit more skill and you need to keep your distance at all times.

Why Dragon-Scale-Up? (Build 2) Top

Sometimes you need to stick in fights longer to make yourself a threat and you need added sustainability. This build offers you the necessary precautions to get your hands a little dirty in exchange for less damage. You'll be able to scale yourself up to size, pun intended.

Basic technique Top

The Combination Nation

The most important aspect of Skaarf killing stuff is the Spitfire + Goop combo.
It can straight up kill an enemy late game and so it is important to master it.
When an enemy is on fire put a goop puddle on them if they're not moving or just ahead of them if they are. This Combo is used in a lot of kill secures so learn it well.

Kiting with Spitfire Spitfire

When you're being chased by a Krul, Phinn, Cath, Taka or basically all heroes that would chase you; its important to know when and how to launch a Spitfire to turn the tides in your favour again. If they are relatively close to you, use Goop first to slow them the spitfire and run. If they are further away launch a few Spitfires till they have half health or less and then put a Goop down, reengage and basic attack them to death immediately.

Throughout the game; Top

Early game;
Early on, poke and harass the enemy laner and kill them if possible. Don't overextend, as always, and farm as much as possible. Help out in lane skirmishes.

Mid Game;
You have a few items now and you can go ahead and play a little riskier but keep an eye on the mini-map.

Late Game;
Yes. Yes! Kill stuff go my little angel of death!
