2		Skaarf	Awwwww. Look at the cute baby dragon trying to catch up! He's an easy kill, just watch out for his ultimate, it will burn away you and your poor little munion friends, otherwise he isn't a big scare, if he's in lane don't be afraid to plant a couple seeds around you in case he tries to spit-fire you.
3		Catherine	She's not that scary to you, specially since you have your slow with shiversteel. Activate it to keep her from running away, or getting close to you!
3		Koshka	Koshka's think they can easily kill the "Squirrel". This is what happens when a squirrel fights back! Easy kill late game, but try to avoid early, since Petal is squishy early game to any hero.
4		Joule	Never been too scared of joule, but with her buff her stun can be devastating. Be wary for that circle! Don't get caught under it! Otherwise she's usually easy to take out.
4		Ringo	Ringo's are annoying, but not scary. Their slow can be a dangerous thing, so if he uses it, try to back off, or attack if you think you can take him, but just be wary.
5		Adagio	Super annoying in lane, he's burning your munions up like nobody's buisness. Early game he's a fear since his heal-slow is scary, and then when he uses his B ability, his attacks are scary too. Late game though, he's pretty easy to kill. If he's about to pop his ult time it right and use your aegis to avoid the stun and majority of the damage.
5		Ardan	Not very scary, just watch out for his A abilities slow, and his C abilities stun if you're in the guantlet arena. Specially since he likely tried to trap you. Watch your back at lowish health.
6		Taka	If he's smart, he'll go for you first. Early game he's a danger, late game he's usually just a scared fox running away. Careful when you use your ult though!
7		Krul	Still annoying early game. Specially when you can't slow him with shiversteel. Be careful you don't over-extend in lane when he's there, he'll rush at you and then quick get stacks up, then kill you. Useless to try and 1vs1 at almost anytime, take him on with at least one ally to confuse him to who he should put his stacks of death and weakness on.
7		Petal	CP Petal's. Just avoid their ult, and usually you're fine. WP Petal's; You can usually easily take them out with your own build, but if not don't try to face them on your own, and try to take them out first in team battles, since they'll likely do the same to you.
8			No Threat
9		SAW	Crystal SAW is dangerous, so is weapon SAW. Be wary, but usually you can outsmart him, but don't try to 1vs1 him early game in lane, wait to level six, and use your ult on him then he's done in no time. Watch out for CP SAW's roady run, does tons of damage.
9		Glaive	I hate Glaive players when playing Petal. They can waltz right up to you, stun you, then kill you and your munions all at the same time. Be careful around him he's dangerous.
10			No Threat

But let's get right down to strategy.
This build with Petal can start any where, in lane or jungle, and still be very effective. In early game though Petal is a super squishy hero, and her munions do barely any damage, and since we're not going crystal Petal, we're going weapon, the munions will be even weaker, and that's where minion candy comes into play. It will help boost your little munions up their strength, and I usually like to carry minion candy with me at all times. But if there comes to be a point I can't due to enemies being too strong, check their builds, and see what option best works. An Adagio with Tornado Trigger? Get Atlas Pauldron, and then use to near him to slow down his attack speed. Have an enemy Cath, and no one on your team got bonesaw? Get bonesaw to shred her armor! Or if the enemy team just has armor, get bonesaw then too if no one on your team already has it, plus the extra attack speed bonesaw gives is very useful. Or just get fountain if you need to more health+Armor, plus it's useful to use to survive longer.
