General Top
Krul is a character in Vainglory that is incredibly hard to master. His skills require timing and the right build to be effective. If played correctly he controls the jungle. However he is very weak early game. So be cautious during the first 10 minutes of the game. Or Until you build your breaking point and some defense. Do not engage early game unless you are 2 v 1 with your roam. When you get to mid-game you are built to gank. Your heroic perk
Shadows Empower Me makes it so that you slow the enemy while boosting your own speed.
Abilities Top
Shadows Empower Me
This is a heroic perk that makes
Krul great for ganking. After staying in a brush for 1.5 seconds.
Krul gains plus 2 movement speed and slows the target he hits. It also helps for escaping.
Dead Man's Rush
This is the A skill For
Krul This deals 160% of the weapon power damage that you deal. it also acts as a gap closer. It becomes very useful mid battle when you have your breaking point stacks up. Its also great for chasing people down. It also gives you a Health barrier, like a reflex block.
Spectral Smite
This is
Krul's Most important skill. It keeps him alive in fights. It builds up to 8 stacks of weakness and gives you lifesteal. So always overdrive this ability first. Its active deals crystal damage and gives your health, It does more damage and heals you more the more stacks on the target there are.
From Hell's Heart
This is Kruls ult. It only hits heroes. It does damage and stuns them for up to 3 seconds. 1 for point-blank range, 2 for max distance and 3 when you boomerang it back towards you. You can use this to initiate fights or kill off the enemy hero with low health.
Buying items Top
When you first start the game, buy
Swift Shooter and 2 halcyon potions a lot of people dont buy these potions but as
Krul you are very vulnerable to jungle invades from early game heroes: such as koshka and others, if you get low on health or mana then pop a potion. It never hurts to have some potions.
After your 1st rotation of the jungle camps. You should have about 1000 gold. Buy a
Weapon Blade,
Sprint Boots and defense (
Light Shield against crystal builds and
Light Armor for weapon power builds.) however later into the game, you will buy both, just so you can tank, drag fights out and destroy your opponents with your breaking point stacks.
After you get about 1500 gold then go to the jungle shop again and upgrade to a
Blazing Salvo buy an
Oakheart and
Light Armor. If you have the gold then buy a
Heavy Steel as well.
By now you should have the potential to gank the enemy laner if they are across the circle in the middle.
Afterwards, buy your
Breaking Point ASAP, upgrade to
Travel Boots,
Dragonheart,
Kinetic Shield and
Coat of Plates.
if you get to late game at about 20 minutes then max out everything. Once you do that then you are an unstoppable force. You get so much health and lifesteal that its sorta impossible to die. THEN F*** THOSE B****S UP!!!
Ganking Top
Wait for the laner to go past the circle in the middle, build up your passive and rush out and DMR him/ her once you have built full stacks or you think that it can kill them then pop the spectral smite.
This is the most effective way to gank the laner
If you know the jungler is alone, then go invade their jungle and if you meet them they might run from you, if they do then DMR to get close to them and if you have shiversteel then pop it to slow them.
