Krul is a powerful hero. He can survive huge amounts of damage and activate a sudden burst of damage onto his foe/opponent. Having Crystal items on Krul is one of the best builds. Although the game suggests to use Weapon items. Here's why.
When Krul uses his second ability( Spectral Smite ), his victim will have a sudden burst of damage. The damage is about 600 and Krul gains approximately 600 too. But with Crystals, the damage is way overboard! It is about 1000 and Krul regenerates the same amount to his health.
Having Crystals on Krul is a great way of surprising enemies with Spectral Smite.
Using Crystal items, will also affect the sheild when using Dead Man's Rush.
