I begin to play around overdriven B ability. I really like this ability along sorrow blade, double monocle, and tornado trigger. I could crit at all the time with insane dmg. I have the Halcyon Chargers boot to manage spamming the B. It makes me kite much easier and hit much faster. I think it is pretty effective.

I definitely agree. The ability to jump towards a player and put out significant damage cannot be overlooked. This ability makes chasing effortless. I like the double monocle in your build, I've been working with a similar build. However, I think that a breaking point would be more effective than the tornado trigger. Even with TT, Baron will never have crazy attack speed. The ability to attack faster and increase damage is so powerful, especially with Baron's heroic perk allowing him to damage and build up BP stacks on multiple enemies at one time. I have gone from 1-9 bp stacks in three auto attacks with a breaking point and two monacles. Scary powerful. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

Also remember that you'll run out of energy if you keep spamming the jump...

Note that the build includes Halcyon Chargers, to account for significant energy usage.

I have, but this is still not going to be enough for the ridiculous energy usage on the character you are trying to use.

The issue as I see it with building the jump ability as you do here is that you are only costing yourself energy. There is no damage increase from leveling up Jump Jets the only thing taking the overdrive does is cost more and increase your movement speed. Unless you're taking the overdrive against Ardan to be able to jump through Gauntlet, there is no power or attack speed benefit to the Jump Jets overdrive.

Its funny, I found your Youtube video of WP Baron and think we just have found different playstyles that work for us individually. I noticed that you utilize the pocupine mortar a lot more than I do, and even stated during the video that the mortar does not do significant damage. There were 2-3 times in your video where you could have used Jump jets to close a gap and slay an enemy but you launched a mortar instead.
The Jump Jets overdrive reduces cooldown to 12 seconds, coupled with cooldown reduction from basic attacks means that you can jump every 5-6 seconds. Additionally, the overdrive gives you a gap closer that is also a debuff. This has many positive and game changing applications such as Ardan's gauntlet, Lyras Bright Bulwark, any stuns, phinns claw.

You are using your jump and relying on it way too much!

Baron needs the overdrive on the jump jets, the porcupine mortar does nothing for baron except for slow which you can get without overdriving, Max ion and Jets to give yourself good space between enemies, also you want to cover up his weakness of being slow not make it clear to his enemies that he is

I agree, You are playing Baron too much like Skye. Baron is not mobile and quick like Skye and you rely too much on Jump Jets. Baron is slow and powerful and able to use Jump Jets for positioning and escaping, but should not be spammed. Better to overdrive his Porcupine Mortar and lure enemies into his Ion Cannon and deal more damage overall. Also, I would get crit/attack speed over Serpent Mask or Sorrowblade typically.

Baron's main disadvantage is his lack of mobility and slow attack speed, which is why I choose to utilize the Jump Jets to become as mobile as possible and exert as much damage as possible. Barons ability to stay on the outskirts of a fight is outstanding, so jumping around and chasing is extremely effective.

While WP Baron's jump can be potent, I feel like you are relying on it too much. However this is a very well written and positive guide. Good job!

Thanks for your input, I definitely see where you're coming from. With increased attack speed and the cool down reduction with auto attacks, I find that the jump is available quite frequently and is Baron's ability that can do the most damage as WP, and as such should be utilized as effectively as possible.
